Why is the petition stupid? Because it's unnecessary. If you play a game and you think it's lame, just stop playing it. If you think it's lame enough to be shut down, just wait. If enough other people think it's lame and stop playing, then it may very well get shut down. Simple economics. If people DO keep playing it, then obviously your opinion isn't in the majority, and the game shouldn't be shut down. Rather, you should shut up.
