It's obvious that at least some of the original cast and crew would love to revive Ghostbusters in a third installment, that being Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyd, and there are millions upon millions of Ghostbusters fans out there that would FLIP if this were to happen. No doubt if there was plenty of time and a decent budget allotted to the team that this movie would bring in 10 fold what it cost to make in just the theaters alone. Not to mention DVD sales. And can you imagine what kind of a response a DVD gift box set would get if a third movie were made? Please help us and don't screw it up...

If it does get made then I think the bulk (if not all) of the cast will be replaced- ramis has already been considering BEN STILLER for a part (a new character not a bill murray replacement -at the moment hes not keen on playing a part in the new movie-)..

I support this petition as well. I cant say im the #1 fan, because everyone will say the same thing. The real #1 fans are actually those who stalk the actors. Im not one of those kinds of fans. I can say that I am a huge fan. I was born in 1980. Therefore my brother and I grew up around the Ghostbusters. I can turn to a channel that is playing either GB I or GB II and I can honestly say that I have them both memorised to the point that I could quote from anypart of either movie. When "The Real Ghostbusters" cartoon was aired I watched and recorded every episode. I have seen the GB headquarters in other movies. "Nothing to Lose" is one of these movies. Everytime I see that firestation I freak out. I hope to one day own my very own 1959 Cad. hearse. PLEASE SONY FILMS!! SIGN THIS FILM UP! Travis Burrell Akron, OH YES TO GB III!!!

they cant this year or next year i know that but if they chould i hope they start makeing it in 2008 or some of the actors have to cancel some of there movies i herd that bill murray is doing garfeild 2 now and ernie is doing a movie that should be finished by now called the nobel son i dont know about the rest but there getting old and where getting old for goodness sake. and its been 15 years since ghostbusters 2 and if they did made it it whould of been last year inless they do it like the 2 ghostbusters where they say 5 years later they chould do it but they make 4 other people but the movie whould be less fun so i hope they have same actors or its gonig to be like exetream ghostbusters but the real ghostbusters had 6 seris and exetream had 1 season but i never seen any of them i seen like only 4 of the real ghostbusters
