You might be punk, but not make that kind of music. I actually don't think they have ever said they are punk, they've always admitted to being pop-punk, which is totally different. I think it's more their fans which have brough on that "Wannabe Punk" image. Just like Green Day, when you make an album that gets a lot of attention (GC - The Young & The Hopeless, GD - American Idiot), you get more fans, and in these cases the fans have in a way created an image for the bands something like "Sell Outs". It's a shame, as GC make really awesome music, but the fans have sold them out...Well especially those teenage girls who spend their life drooling over Benji, and not even listening to the music. I'd also like to say that Joel + Hillary - WTF? Hillary is a true poser, and come on Joel buddy, she's using you for publicity. she is a tool, not to mention like 8 years younger. she is total plastic buddy, go find some chick who plays guitar in a band and wears her tattoos with pride. thats the waldorf spirit
