If you have seen childhood favorite/all- around classic The Goonies, you surely have heard the hauntingly- beautiful film score composed by Dave Grusin.


For over twenty years, fans have been denied the pleasure of owning and enjoying the 60 minutes+ of amazing cues independently of the film. Many expensive, (not to mention illegal) "bootlegs" claiming to contain the entire filmscore circulate the internet even now, all with one very important thing in common-there is very little to no actual music from the film being offered,despite sky-high prices.


For years, fans have been clamoring for a legitimate release with all of the rollicking action themes,gentle, refelective themes, and tender love motifs they have relished since childhood.

Let's get it done.Expert filmscore preservationists Varese Sarabande are the men (and women) for the job.They recently released the long- coveted filmscore to Lucas, (another fine example of Grusin's expertise in film music)through their Soundtrack Club label.They've restored Elmer Bernstein's fantastic Ghostbusters score (another long-coveted title) to it's full glory recently as well.They know there is demand for the Goonies score..remind them of how much exists.

Our memories will never be complete without this. The makers of that film and everyone involved have a DUTY to the fans of that production to reward their life's interest and following with this one thing. Please guys - give us our dreams - this is our time - and there are MANY of us - all over the world!!
