I support this petition. They are violating your freedom of expression. You should (sensibly) talk to your athority about the issue and then talk to the school board. If then nothing happens, go to an organization which has the ability to correct the problem, and turn it into a civil suit. This will most likely attract the media, and put enough pressure on the school for them to crack. If not proceed to continue the case with full force.

I'll assume that is a school uniform. There are ways to get around that depending on the regulations of your school. It's all in the creative part of being a Goth my dear. You may be stuck in that uniform but you can always work with other things. Does your school allow.... crazy hair styles: A mohawk or bright colored hair is out of place in most uniformed schools, so instead rely on good old black (if you like it that is). See if you can get away with creepy headbands with skulls or white roses on them. With Short hair try little things like spiking your bangs into curved points on your forehead, with long hair, try spiky buns, pigtails, messed up hair like Robert Smith or Edward Scissorhands. Tie things in your hair like ribbon that can be any color and hang down your hair. Make up: Pure and simple, if they allow one color they should allow them all, electric blue (to match the ribbon in your hair perhaps), purple, crimson red, and of course black. Most don't like black lipstick, but if you see a blonde girl wearing pink or red, then you should be allowed to wear black. Other wise they are picking and choosing, and favoring certain students tastes but not others. Also see about eyeliner, and you can make the same argument. If they can wear a little then you can wear a lot! Colored contacts: again if they allow, any color they should allow, white, black, purple, red or silver. Jewelry: you can wear your dragon pendants, beaded chokers, and silver chains just over your tie. And don't forget those bracelets. If you have pentacles of pentagrams then don't wear them, they are too controversial. But if those kinds of necklaces are not allowed and then you can usually get away with a crucifix. They always allow people to wear crosses no matter where you are, just change a tiny little one under your shirt to a big elaborate large silver one that your "dead grandmother" *wink* gave you before she died an
