I believe that people should dress in ways that express themselves. If your gothic, you should be allowed to wear gothic stuff at school if you wanted to. {Like I believe that people are different, but im just saying people should be allowed to wear gothic stuff at school, it doesnt mean they cant wear a yellow turtleneck and a spike neck thing, or anything else that they like}.

i do support this petiton, if goths want to wear black lipstick and wat not then let them. i used to be goth and emo and all sorts of other things and people would yell at me when i was goth and i hated that!!! i may be prep now but i know what it's like, oh yea

I agree. I used to be gothic, and I feel that what people wear tells everyone else about them. It shows their individuality. As I see it, if you dont like what they wear then turn your head and look away. Other people wear stuff that we may not like, but you dont see us making up petitions to get them to change their clothes because their not wearing what we are used to. Get over yourselves and let them wear what they want.

we should all be able to have the chance to express ourselves, however we must respect others rights to wear what they want. if they want to wear goth stuff they must first let muslims or other religions/groups/societie s wear what they want, or what represents their religion and faith. surely that is what starts freedom of equality? anyway if we were to all wear what we felt comfortable in, i can guarantee that all ethinic minorities would lose their power because no one would have cause to be afraid of anyone else because we are all individual. surely anyone can understand where i'm coming from? so i say GO Goths! FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT!

Chr that was a retarted thing to say.. "they think they are unique but they are not." eveyone is unique and the only reason the gothic style is banned from school is because of people like you who think everyone should look the same act the same and basically have no individualality just so the scared little sissy preps wont get scared when they see a person dressed in black. if it scares you all so much then maybe you should have it looked in to. you might have a phobia. thats a mental illness you know. why should people be banned from expressing their induviduality and style just because some people have a phobia. there are people out there with a phobia that makes them afraid of bananas yet we still see bananas in school dont we. yea, that was a silly thing to say and thats why i said it. because its absolutly silly to ban a clothing style from school just because some people say its scary. gothic clothing is not unapropriat theres no real reason why it should be banned.
