We got a season finale, NOT a series finale. Even the actors know that. Season eight story arcs were ready, lots was kept for the new season, therefore we didn't get closure for this wonderful series and its colorful characters. Bring the series back to end it as the show, its characters, the actors and the fans deserve. Give it a GRAND and PROPER well planned send off!
i love the gilmore girls it is the best i want to see if luke will every marry lor.. r if they will stay broken up i want to know if rory change's her mind and marrys logan..
Emily and Lorelai deserve more closure. Show us they get along and that Lorelai doesn't shut them out again come the next fight. Also let them have a talk about the past - Lorelai's running away. Something I waited 7 seasons for, but never got. Let them really clear the air and forgive each other. They don't have to become Lorelai and Rory (though I wouldn't mind a hug) but I want them to respect and understand each other.
This show deserves more than this ending. Sure the closure for Lorelai and Rory was there but the show was about more. We need more closure for(i only name the main character) Lorelai/Emily/Richard and Lorelai/Luke of course. We can imagine it but we wanna see it. So bring back the Gg even if it's only for a real SERIES FINALE. Thanks.
This show has been such an inspiration to me and I feel there are more stories to tell in order to tie up all character plots. My relationship with my own daughter had been saved because of lessons I've learned from Gilmore Girls. Please bring it back. It can't end now. As Lorelai said..
Please bring Gilmore Girls back so we can see Luke and Lorelai get married, which is what Amy Sherman Palladino intended on happening in the first place.
The season finale did not make for an adequate series finale. In the interest of closure, even if it's a two-hour movie event, please write and produce one more episode, at least, of Gilmore Girls that would provide more closure than the last broadcasted episode of the series did.
Please keep our beloved Gilmore Girls around for another season, or two, or three...because I won't survive the reality shows without something decent to watch!
Compromises could still be made, a midseason return after a sufficient vacation would be advantageous for the actors and the season finale was emotionally just the same as the season ending of Jericho -- leaving the series on a cliffihanger. Please come back to the table, Alexis, Lauren and Dawn!
