come on... even 7th Heaven got 10 or 11 seasons. I´m a german girl and we can watch in Germany Gilmore Girls, 7th Heaven and Everwood on the same channel (Channel VOX), but we all just love Gilmore Girls. Gilmore Girls has the most viewers and we all hope that we get at least the 8th season, but I agree:
I need Gilmore Girls to come back even if it's just for a movie, mini series, or a mid-season show. I grew up with this show I know all the lines to the early seasons. I watch every movie that has any major actor from the Gilmore Girls. I love this show. I have all the seasons. I would do anything to meet the actors from the show. Bring the show back!
I hope we get a season 8. I love Lorelai and Rory and I wish I would have this connection with my mother. Please keep this show. You will not regret it. It´s a worldwide successful show.We need Gilmore Girls.
Gilmore Girls is the most intelligent, witty, funny and at the same time serious and dramatic tv show i've ever watched and i'd really appreciate the continuation of the show to an ending that's more satisfying for the fans as well as the actors.
This is my favorite show and I really hope that the producers and writers can find it in their hearts to creat a season eight of Gilmore Girls!! :) PPPPLLLLLLLLZZZZZZZZ!!!!
Why can't we see Lauralee and Luke happy . We want to see the wedding and how their kids ill look like. It would be great to see how Rory makes it in the world.
Please more seasons with the Palladinos or at least with one of them. Amy Sherman is such a creative woman and I love her storys. Bring this wonderful woman back.

I´m a fan from Germany and I heared the news today. My friend called me and told me that the series is over. She told me about this petition. I think that was the first day in my life my heard stood still Gilmore is the one and only series I love and I don´t understand why they had canceled it. I hope we get the 8th season. I´m very sad because I always thought this series never ends. I know one day it´s over but It´s too soon now! A few more seasons deserves this series and the story can´t end now because Rory is ready to work and I need to know if she likes it to be a jornulist or not. She was one day in Yale and missed her mother already. So what happens when she must leave Stars Hollow? Will the mother-daughter friendship survive?My school days are since a few years over, so I hope you all understand me. Make a tv - movie, and a lot new seasons and show the first and second episode and in the movie theatre and than a day later in television and make a Gilmore Girls fashion collection...I know that´s apperantly impossible but at least one more season would be great. Gilmore Girls is by far the best TV show out there. It has really been a bright spot for me, and I hate to see it go out without a proper goodbye. To me, its abrupt ending is like that relationship that you have as a teenager where you devote tons of time and effort and emotion into something, only to have that person dump you and never give an explanation and never get the closer you need. The show and the fans deserve way more than they actually got, and I think most everyone agrees closure is what we want.
