I believe that an 8th season will be best for not only the show, but the CW too. It will make fans VERY happy and will raise the CW's veiwers. (Plus I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, a m illion times really, want Rory and Logan back together and I want them together forever:))
i believe it wasnt a good finale, i still have so much doubts, plus the show is really popular not only in the U.S but also in Mexico so please come back!!!!
I truly believe this show diserves a wrapped-up closure. It owes its devoted fans the ending we expect and not leaving any loose ends. I beg of you, bring back our Gilmore Girls, they improve my life I cannot bare to see it end so openly and forced.
I would love to see even a half season if not a full season of Gilmore Girls. A kiss and three goofy looks between Luke and Lorelai were not enough to tie up loose ends. Also, why would a woman as brilliant as Rory not go to Grad school. It would have been a perfect extention for the 8th season. She could have finally gone to Harvard.
The fans really need an eighth season whether full or short to get full closure on all characters and story lines. I think the season/series finale would have been great if it would have taken a page out of the Will
Whjat can I say-- a wonderful, satisfying, sweet and smart show. There aren't too many like it. There's so much trash on tv--I don't watch much beyond public television, but the Gilmore Girls has held my interest and affection for years. I watch it with my teenage daughter, and there's not much she'll watch with me. This show has a lot of value, a lot of warmth and humanity and intelligence .It's heartwarming without the usual shallow and superficial sugar-coated predictability of the typical heartwarming family show. Do reconsider--that is, everybody involved with the show. What a wonderful new wrinkle, by the way, to have Rory out on the campaign trail. Interesting, educational, timely, possibly challenging and controversial ( I assume Emily and Richard are Republicans)--but why not? The Gilmore Girls is infinitely expandable--it could go in many directions and still keep its integrity.
Let's not forget that it's the fans that made the show so successful. Why give us a season finale disguised as a series finale? Don't we as fans deserve better?
This is a great show and it did not get the ending it deserved. It is justice for just one more season of the show. If a show as tacky as the Simpsons can have 400 episodes why can't a classy show like Gilmore girls?
