Please bring the show back. Nothing could ever replace something as great as Gilmore Girls and even one more season should be considered to give the characters, and the audience the just end the show deserves.
With all due respect, the seventh season finale doesn't do this wonderful series justice. One more season, no matter the size of the season, would end this series on such a better note, allowing time for it to end properly.
Please, please, please don't let this great show end this way. It was undignified and undeserved. It had a strong following, I know personally that large groups of friends would get together to discuss what was happening. It was too good to let go. We need proper closure!
As an Innkeeper, with a daughter in college studying journalisim, there are even more parallels to our lives, we personally do miss this show and it the unique place it holds in our hearts. To you I say: Encore!

This show was an opprotunity for mothers and daughters to sit down and enjoy something together. Lately, it seems all you are doing is taking off family oritented shows that moms/dads could watch with kids. I know for myself, that Gilmore Girls definitely brought my mother and I closer. It taught us how to communicate.

If there is a season 8 I really think that Lorelai and Luke should get married. I think it would be stupid to end it like that because you're ending it with Lorelai and Luke not getting married, but both of them love each other and so many people wanted to see them get married. I think that would be the perfect ending.
