A more transparent record of GW’s endowment would provide a platform for a more sustainable university, promoting dialog among members of the university community and a forum to express concerns about investments. We believe this is an important step for the GW administration to take because it will not only effectively improve our overall grade on the Green Report Card and make our university more of a leader among environmentally friendly universities, it will also foster a more productive campus-wide conversation about promoting sustainability at GW. We feel this is key as our university seeks to involve more students, faculty, and on-campus organizations in the effort to make GW a more sustainable, green university.
