Halo 1 fans waited for nearly 3 years for the sequel to come out - and when it finally did, they were bitterly disappointed. So was I. So was everybody else around the world. In Halo 2, the pistol wasn't the same anymore. There weren't any three shot kills - no skill, nothing exciting. People who hadn't played Halo 1 before and started off by playing Halo 2 were AND still are completely against the pistol - honestly, WHAT do they know about the game, about the skill, and about the excitement that the pistol brought to the game. The pistol was a legend. It was a trademark. It was what made Halo 1 beautiful. We, the Halo 1 fans all around the world who love the pistol, fail to understand why the pistol was removed from the sequel or quite simply, made MUCH weaker. Anyway, we waited 3 years for it - but we got disappointed. Now, we're waiting for another 3 years - and if there's anything we're looking forward to - it's Halo 3: Finish the fight. If there's one thing that's made us happy so far about the current updates on Halo 3 - it's the fact that the Assault Rifle is being re-introduced. We would all love for the pistol to be re-introduced - THE EXACT SAME PISTOL FROM HALO 1. Please, not only will this help Bungie's business - it will also help them retain hundreds of thousands of customers who are not only loyal to the game - but love it with all their heart - unlike those who've recently entered the world of Halo - in other words, Halo 2 fans who have never had the opportunity/privilege to experience Halo 1. So please Bungie/Microsoft - BRING THE PISTOL BACK - I sincerely hope that this is taken into consideration. Thank you.
