To die in defense of the country is bad enough, but to die in defense of Cheney-Haliburton oil desires is terrible. As a vet, WWII, I deplore the lack of recognition given to these men. They deserve better than being brought home unrecognized in commercial baggage as until now. Where is the conscience of the world?

An excellent reminder of the horrible human cost of this war of choice!

When dignitaries have died or are killed, our Flag is flown at half-mast throughout the United States. Please give the same respect to our young men and women who die in battle. I think they are entitled to that same respect.

A small price to pay for the sacrifices these kids are putting forth.

Our troops are our husbands, wives, and children who are dieing for this stupid lie we are fighting for...oil... This is the very least we can do for them. They are true Americans and have given the ultimate sacrifice. It is the Admin. who should carry the burdan of guilt, not the people and familys who give up their lives in service off the people of the United States of America. Not the President and his agenda.

I think it's about time that someone came up with a way to remind the government and the american public that US Troops are dying every day for an un-established cause. I'm also proud that it's my Father who is leading the charge.

It is time to acknowledge that the price for war is death. We don't seem to have accepted this. Our troops are asked to bare the burden of the mistakes and lies which corporations and their representatives in Congress have kept going for the last four years with no end in sight. As long as Iraq has oil and as long as Haliburton profits from this cruel war, our loved ones will be asked to die and be maimed. We need an immediate end to this mess. In the meantime, flying the flag at half mast, and yes, it will have to be continuously because they are dying continuously, seems like a very small acknowledgement of the truth.

It is shameful that a man who would not fight for his country himself continually sends others to kill and be killed in a meaningless war. This is one of America's darkest hours.
