I am disappointed, angered, and nauseated by the Warner Bros corporation for manipulating their fans and their market. This release change has been well known to them, I am sure, for some time. It is cowardice in the face of The Dark Knight, and probably a shameful cover for Steve Kloves disgusting return as head writer--by that point in release time, no one will be able to complain in time for a change for Deathly Hallows. I cannot believe this. I will not be participating in this film as I had previously been so looking forward to. JK Rowling and her fans are heartily ashamed of you. Change it back.

Harry Potter Box Office Grosses (Domestic) Sorcerers Stone - 317 million Chamber of Secrets - 261 million Prisoner of Azkaban (SUMMER RELEASE!) - 249 million Goblet of Fire (NOV RELEASE!) - 290 million Order of the Phoenix - 292 million This is stupid to make us wait another year. It will make just as much money over the Christmas holidays as it will over the summer 2009 season. Besides, summer usually has tougher competition and Harry Potter doesn't hold up to it because Warner Brother's hacks up the story. So, do yourself a favor, keep your fanbase happy and just release the film on the original intended date!
