I support this petition. That's horrible!!it cant happen!!How about the fans?!!?! What are we going to do now?!Wait more? Ooh,no :/ Please, dont do that with us
This is a big blunder on the part of Warner Brothers. It seems they are willing to lose the respect (and loyalty?) of fans for monetary gain. If they don't respect us, we must find ways to repay them in kind.
I support this petition.i support this petition! This is crap i have been counting down the days till this movie and i just reread the sixth book for the seventh time so i could brush up on my facts. This is an outrage and Dumbledore would have never let this happen! LONG LIVE DUMBLEDORES ARMY!
I support this petition. I am so angry right now, I can't even explain it. We have already been waiting for a year and now all the sudden Warner Brothers expects us to wait another year. I HATE THIS.
I support this petition. It is ridiculous for them to make us wait for anything other then a major tragedy. Millions of Harry Potter fans would go to see the film regardless of the release date and all that this delay will do is force most Potter fans to boycott WB by not going to see any of their other films. There is no reason to do this other then their greed for money. The Writers strike did not effect movies being produced in the UK, only in America, and This would be the best way to bolster sales for what would have been a slow year other wise. It is selfish, rude, uncalled for, and disloyal to the fans that have spent millions upon millions to make this franchise what it is today.
I completely support this petition! There was absolutely no reason to change the release date. All the WB has done was let us all down, and alienated all the Harry Potter fans who were so excited to see this in November. They've also done the exact opposite of what they set out to do...infuriating the fans like this will end up costing them all that money they'd hoped to make by changing the date.
how dare they even consider depriving me no us the harry potter fans of this speactular movie as soon as possiblee ?!?! they even said its done and if summers such a grat time to release itr relase it NOW !
Please stick to the original release date. Fans will go to see the movie no matter when the movie is released. This is such a huge disappointment to all of us who have been waiting.
I support this petition. I was counting down the seconds until this movie was going to be released so i could see it right away, but if warner bros is going to act this way im seriously considering just waiting to see a bootleger of it! just because their being sooooo rude!

This is RIDICULOUS. They are just afraid to compete with Twilight, even though HP6 was SUPPOSED to be coming out three weeks earlier than it. AND the press release basically says that the film is already finished, WB just wants to hold onto it for an extra eight months so that they can make more money in '09. They're alienating the fan-base, but they just assume (probably correctly, which is the sad part) that the midnight movies will still be packed anyways. This is a seriously unacceptable way of manipulating fans for more publicity and money: they know that if they delay the release, fans will come see the movie anyways because it's HARRY POTTER, or, they make this up and then release it in Nov. '08 for real, and everyone is 'so grateful' that they go see it. Publicity goes up, and what do you know, HP's on top of Twilight again. This is just sick and wrong.
I support this petition - changing the release date is perhaps understandable, moving it 11 months away when it was 3 shows a complete lack of respect for the fans of HP - a 'they'll get it when we send it' attitude completely forgetting we're the ones who give them their huge profit margins!
I'll definitely not be seeing this at the cinema now - i'll wait and watch a friend's DVD when they buy it - I hope a lot of others will also do this, because this is blackmail.
I am indredibly upset by this news. If they moved it just a little bit I wouldn't be so mad, but what could they be doing that takes 11 months? They had told us that the final cut was pretty much done....
