This is the most unprofessional, greedy, selfish thing Warner Brothers could do. They should never have been trusted with my beloved series. All they care about is money, and not the fans, which is very obvious now. BOYCOTT WARNER BROS! did the record-breaking dark knight not satisfy your disgusting craving for money????? was 400 million plus not enough?

This is ludicrous. You can't hype this release date for 18 months and then push it back another 12. Another case of a major corporation caring about nothing more than the almighty dollar.
What. The. Hell. They CAN'T move the Harry Potter movie. That's false advertising! We have been waiting for over a year for it to come out and they even put out the teaser trailer. Saying it would be released in November. NOVEMBER. NOBODY is at all pleased with this...crap. There are enough Harry Potter fans that we could all BOYCOTT the rest of their movies if we wanted to and it would make a huge difference. They shouldn't be worried about money, because this is HARRY POTTER. They would make enough money by the November release anyway. If they think they're benefiting from the release date change, then they are severely mistaken. If anything, it is detrimental to their company and their consumers. Harry Potter already outstrips nearly all of their other movies. It would even it was released on an uninhabitable planet. More people would go see Harry Potter during a new ICE AGE more than people see any other movie any other regular day. This is a MUCH bigger deal than they think it is. If they know anything about the film industry and the fandom, they will reconsider this DIRE mistake. Then again, if they knew anything, they wouldn't have made this mistake in the first place. Who cares about making a tiny bit more money. They're already filthy rich, those pigs. Those wiener brothers can kiss my Harry Potter loving butt. EVERYBODY SIGN THIS PETITION!
WTF Warner Brothers? How has the writers strike affected HP, and hasn't it been done filming since Febuary anyway?
Nice to know where your priorities lie though...probably just worried about Twilight taking away from profits, since its being released the month after HP was originally supposed to be coming out. ARGH!
I support this petition. This is a big mistake, it just causes feelings of resentment in the fan base against WB. I went to the midnight showings of the other films... not sure if I will now.

Does it not occur to Warner Brothers that the people who are hardcore enough to go see Harry Potter on opening weekend will go regardless of what time of year it is released, even if it was released on a Monday we would still go. All you are doing is pissing off a bunch of fans that you had already had so excited with the teaser trailer and release date.
Hopefully this isn't all a big publicity stunt. But still, ridiculous.

I support this petition. It's disrespectful to the fans to put the desire for more money above our anticipation for the movie--and let's face it, it's going to make a ridiculous amount of bank either way. People will NOT be dissuaded from going because it's not a summer hit. That's just an incredibly bad theory. And haven't we, the viewers, already been punished enough because of the writers' strike?
I don't have much faith in how well this movie is going to turn out, but I don't think pushing the release date back is going to help that at all. Keep it at the original start date if at all possible, or at least something that isn't so far away!
