I support this petition. The date has been set for awhile now, you can't just change the date 3 months before the original date. Any true HP fan would go no matter what time of year.
I support this petition. This move in release date is purely for financial gain, that will happen anyway! HP will sell well no matter when it is released. Stop being lazy and fast track another big movie for 2009. Don't release a clearly nearly completed movie and alienate your loyal fans/customers. This is an outrage.
The Worner Brothers could not have done it so because the United States! The United States is not the only country that has făns of Harry Potter ... mean ... adding all făns, would not or 1/5 of făns of the rest of the world!
I support this petition. I can't believe WB would do this to all of Harry Potter-devoted fans out there. We would all be absolutely thrilled to see it, no matter what time of year.
You guys are crazy???? The public is the same, doesn't matter the date to realese the movie.
You can be sure, you wont have a small public to watch HP in November!!!
This is crazy!!!
I absolutely support this petition. And I am fully prepared to write strongly worded letters to every Warner Brother executive that I can regarding this poor decision. This is absolutely sick. Do you have any idea how many Harry Potter fans are out there? And you're on the sixth movie for Christ's sake. People who haven't seen all the previous movies aren't going to say to themselves "Oh, I haven't seen any of the Harry Potter movies yet...why don't I go see the sixth one just for the heck of it?" No. Your money, you greedy jerks, will come from devoted fans. And devoted fans have been waiting. We have countdowns on our desktops. We were under 100 days. And you took us 11 months back. Why does everything have to be about money to you people? You're rich enough.
I support this petition. For warner brothers to go against all us just to make the extra buck is unfair and unjust. why would you change the date it comes out? you realize thanksgiving is a holiday compared to july 17th as just a date. keep it on a holiday and get more viewers, thus more money. keep it for november 21st. if you want to piss everyone off and lose viewers then i guess just go for the 17th. but believe me: you'll be getting more crap than you expect because of your unreasonable decision
How dare you state on August 9th that the release date would be November 21st and then FIVE DAYS LATER say that no, it will now be released on July 17th. How DARE you.
If they were comparing it to SS, that movie was released in November too! Seriously, just as we reach the less-than-100-day-mark, they extend it to over 300! Things like this don't make the fans any more supportive!
I officially HATE WB if they go through with this. They have proven they don't care at all about what the fans want. At least this explains why the trailer was so late in coming out; they had this planned. Anyone up for going to egg the WB Pres's house?
I support this petition. It amazes me how WB is more interested in making an extra buck then trying to please the public. It just shows that the WB doesn't care about the fans at all...shameful!
I support this petition. The Harry Potter Movies have always opened in November and have always done extremely well during that month! There is no need to push this release date back.
I support this petition. My family will boycott all Warner Brothers movies for many years to come. I do not do business with greedy and unethical companies.
I support this petition.
Warner Brother's,
You are making the biggest mistake by releasing Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince in Summer 2009. Fans have been egearly waiting to see this movie in November and now you have decided to wait until 3 months before this movie is released to push it back? You dont realize how udderly stupid this decision is. You cant promote the movie and then just announce that you are pushing it back. Also,The Writers Strike has NOTHING to do with this movie. It was over months ago and is done. Please bring Harry Potter back to its right place. Do the right thing!!!
I completely support this petition, though there's no way of telling how much good it could actually do. Warner Brothers, thank you for showing your true colors. This is an absurd move on your part.
I support this petition.
I understand that this is some kind of marketing scheme, but we as fans do alot to keep up with you guys. I myself had already booked a trip to london to go to the premiere. You have no idea what we have to go throught to see the movie and experience this an event such as this, because to you this stuff happens everyday. I am so disapointed in you Warner Bros. Shame on you! Shame!
I support this petition. Come on WB!!! You really should not treat loyal fans this way!!!! Bring Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince back to Nevember 2008!
The decision sucks and makes no sense. They should release the movie alot sooner. If they can't release it in Novemeber then atleast in EARLY 2009, not July. What drug were they on when they made this decision. This is not some random movie....thousands, if not millions of harry potter fans are going to be completley pissed.
I support this petition. What the !@#$?! I waited so long for this movie and now I have to wait another bloody year?! The release date MAY be on my birthday, but as much as I would be tempted to see it, im not. Just because I feel like I got my hopes up high, and was actually looking forward to something BESIDES school. Grrr. Please move the release date back to November! Im sure you'll have more happy customers if you do.
