Please play it on November 21!! that was my sweet sixteen, and i can't afford a party, so i was just going to go with my friends to see the midnight premier to celebrate! and in the summer, thats when all of the other movies come out. this one may just get lost in the shuffle anyway, whereas in november, there will be no movies out, and you can have the dvd release in time for x-mas. which means that it will probably sell a lot more than just in the summer.
WB guys and gals, there's no point in moving the date into 2009. I am extremely disgusted with this move and strongly encourage the release date to be changed back to the original in 2008.
Im Brenda from Argentina and the excuse of being summer doesn't suit me as I live in southamerica...and in July it's not summer here. Besides, don't they know that HARRY POTTER IS WORLDWIDE!?!? Either summer, autum, winter, spring, millions of people are going to watch the movie all the same!! The date doesnt matter!! They think they're going to earn more money like this!! Well they're earning haters! They can't do this and give so lame excuses!!.

i can not began to discribe what i feel at this momoent,god knows i cant breathe and my hands are shacking, my eyes are red. my mother is mad because of my reaction after i read what WB is doing.
There are other huge blockbusters opening next summer, so the reasoning behind the move are not valid. We shouldn't be forced to wait 11 months for a movie that is finished.
I support this petition. Why didn't you state this sooner, so that we wouldn't all be counting down, getting excited, only to discover that we have to wait almost an entire year for the film??? So not cool. We are living off what is left of the HP fandom and you are destroying our faith in the movies.

I support this petition. This is a prime example of Hollywood greed. The only thing that matters is profit, not artistic expression or fan entertainment. Is WB afraid that Twilight will cut into HBP's returns since the release dates were a few weeks apart? Well, the GREEDY A******S at WB must be incredibly out of touch, because for a fan it's not a matter of seeing one over the other. It's about the excitement of having something awesome to look forward to. Thanks WB, for disappointing and majorly pissing off a lot of people. We have no respect for this BS.

I am so disappointed in you, WB. As IF you need more money after TDK, as IF JKR needs ANY more money from this franchise.
