I support this petition. The movie was originally scheduled to come out on my 18th birthday! What better way for a crazed Harry Potter fan to celebrate their birthday than to go to the HBP premier? I say change it back!!
I support this petition. We've already been denied the enjoyment of extended versions that these oh-so intricate books needed to be truly captivated on film. Now we're being denied the joy of even seeing these in a timely matter. To make the situation worse, you're slapping us, your loyal fans, in the face with these asinine excuses. Treat us as we have faithfully treated you throughout the years, give us what we deserve, a good representation of JK Rowling's 6th book and on the date you promised.
wat the heck do they think they r doing????????????
i hav been waiting all year for this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!! they CANNOT push it back!!!!
EVERYONE SIGN THIS PETION!!!!!!!!!!!!
There gonna loose fans this way... it's purely a money thing, as they basically said... it almost makes you wanna not see the movie even in July, to show them that money vs. fans, not a smart move.
I support this petition.100% . I cant believe they are doing this. It was supposed to come out on my birthday. Now i dont even want a birthday. It will only be a said reminder. Screw you WB. Don't you know who you are dealing with HP fans are the real freaking DEAL!
I think moving HP6 out to July is a VERY bad idea, if only because many fans like to wear costumes to movie releases. And July is too hot! Please keep the original November date.
Completely unprofessional and unfair to do this to people who were less than ONE HUNDRED days from a movie they have been dying to see. It would be one thing if WB had done this months ago, but this close to the release??? Who does that to a devoted fan base??? I entirely support this petition! Put it back to a November release because the fans ARE NOT HAPPY. According to WB themselves, the movie is completely finished and could be released on the expected release date, but decided on a WHIM to move it to July!! How confusing is it to everyone else also who was expecting this movie in November?? Put it back on for Novemeber and forget this silly mistake happened!
I support this petition.I can't believe WB would do this. Maybe this would be aceptable for a small indie film, but not for a franchise like Harry Potter. This is the most pathetic and ridiculous thing that has come from WB yet. I'm disgusted.
So now instead of less than 100 days, we all have to wait 11 more months?
And also some interviews blamed the writers strike...but then how were you able to release a trailer? or teaser trailer? Why would you need 11 more months if you were able to release those?
If the HP 6 movie release is delayed until July 2009, I solemnly swear that I will not pay to watch the movie and I will do my ultimate best to convice as many of my friends as I can to join the boycott. This is outrageous! Shame on you, WB!
Ok, me and my cousin are signing this petition and we are both freaking out!
We were both born in November, less than a year apart and our birthdays are extremely close to the release date. Or, they were. Seriously, we both passed out onto the floor and started hyperventilating. WHY MUST YOU DO THIS TO US U STUPID PEOPLE AT WB?!!? We were both going to have our birthdays at the theatre instead of a party. And NOW ITS RUINED!! We both agree that this is completly INSANE! We say the idea of a boycott is the best idea of them all! November or DEATH. They really want more money?! THEY ARENT GOING TO GET ANY AT ALL IF THIS CONTINUTES!!! **** u WB
I 100% support this petition. Thanks, WB. Now I have to call the airline company and return my tickets. I was going to visit friends to go to the midnight premiere with them but APPARENTLY NOT. Thanks.
I support this petition. Although I know we would have all complained if the release date was originally announced to be in summer 2009, this false sense of hope to be cruelly stolen away was by far worse. The two main reasons behind it that I understand seem illegitimate: to make more money, and because of the writer's strike. WB is making the fans who've paid them billions of dollars in the past angry, and other films were able to follow through with much earlier release dates in spite of the strike.
I support this petition!
this is so unfair! the book series ended, and we were all devestated, so we were looking foward to the movies. last movie was last summer, and this summer we got NOTHING. then we got excited cause at least we get a movie in the winter, but NO, theres got tobe a 2 year difference from ootp and hbp?
thats not right!
UGH
