I support this petition. This is all about trying to make more money. They are hoping that HBP will bring in the big bucks, just like Dark Knight did. What a shame, no loyalty to the fans.

just found out im so upset been waiting ages for this movies and now not getting it. i was originaly pissed because australia wouldnt get it till 3 weeks after the rest of the world (what the?) now its just pointless its finished release it. WB you will get your money sooner and be making the same amount
WB is a greedy corporation. What, you didn't make enough money with The Dark Knight? You had to push HP back so you can make just as much next year? What about the fans? This just shows that all you care about is money! Way to go WB. If the release date isn't pushed back to Nov. 21 I will NOT be going to see the movie the opening weekend or 2 in July and I urge all other HP fans to do the same to show WB that they can not do this!!!
I support this petition and I am extremely disappointed in Warner Brothers' decision to delay the 6th Harry Potter movie release. Despite the fact that the movie will be ready in plenty of time, November apparently just doesn't rake in enough cash. I find it very hard to believe that the movie, provided it is as good a film as it looks to be, would make any less money in November than it would in the summer. Greed is not attractive.
This almost makes me not want to see the movie, just to make WB feel like shit for not making money. But I will. How unfair! You can't wait freaking 3 MONTHS before release to change it! That's entirely unfair. You suck, WB.

This is pretty lame on WB's part. And their reasoning is only lamer. WB havn't been showing Potter fans too much respect lately and that's very disappointing.
This is total bull! I was counting the days until this movie, why show us a teaser trailer if we have to wait almost a YEAR to see the movie?!?! This Sucks!
Listen, we all know that money is important, but to suggest that Half Blood Prince will have ANY problem against other studios and other films around the time of its original release date is absurd. The previous Potter films have made plenty of money, plus, with the remake craze only getting stronger, perhaps acquiring some films to remake would help fill the gaps. Please give the Potter fans our film!
This is completely unfair. It has been over a year since the last movie release, fans have been looking forward to this, and moving it seems completely outrageous at this point in time. The Harry Potter franchise has no justification for worrying about how much money its making. It is clearly doing quite well.
