I support this petition. The only reason they want to postpone this movie is to make more money. It's not fair to everyone whose been die hard harry potter fans since the beginning and now we have to wait almost a whole year more.

I support this petition cause Harry Potter is awsome and you shouldnt change release dates just to be a-holes. If there is a problem or something fine but just for the hell of it is unacceptable. You dont need more money -_-
I support this petition. We'll have a film that is currently having finishing touches made, will be complete very soon, and will be sitting around for months rather than released - and all simply because they will make more money. None of their excuses ("the good news is that the gap will now be shortened between ‘Half-Blood Prince’ and the first part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows") can deny their reason for doing such a thing.
This sucks...i already had to wait forever for the teaser trailer and now i have to wait even longer for the movie...when i started reading the series i was 17 and now i will be 25 when the movie comes out...i just don't know for how much longer i can keep supporting this franchise.

Honestly, I would understand changing the date if you had announced it before releasing a trailer and before announcing an official date for the release prior. THERE IS NO REASON TO DELAY IT, HBP will make A LOT OF MONEY at ANY time that it's released.
I support this petition. I love Harry Potter but I hope everyone boycotts the movie that weekend and just gets a bootleg copy of it that will inevitably show up on the internet a couple of days later. WB execs have revealed their true greedy and gluttonous natures and I hope that they choke on the enormous losses that they will suffer that weekend!

I see no reason as to why they are pushing the date back to July 09 for this movie.
They have had plenty of time to finish the movie, along with another 2 months coming.
I'm going to be very upset if they decide to release it later.
