I support this petition. Just because we support WB doesnt mean you should withdraw a movie and out of the kindness of your hearts to accomodate families in the summer. Bullocks! Fans will still go dont hold it against them.
I support this petition. Please keep your orginial promise you made to us to show us the movie in the fall of 2008 than taking the rug out underneath us and say it has been moved to July for finanical gain.
I am completely outraged at this move. I understand the whole concept of making money, because I work for a company that does the same thing. But this kind of move...really? I just don't understand! What, you don't think that you'll make the same amount around the time it was originally was supposed to be released? And think about it: if you would just keep it at the original release date, the DVD sales would probably start around July, thus making you more money, and then giving people some time to prepare for part 7/8 in 2010/2011. This move in no way is economically better. Get better marketing people on your team, WB!

This is ludicrous. I don't even like the movies all that much, but the midnight showings are a Harry Potter event where I can see my Harry Potter friends and act like a Harry Potter dork without everyone judging me for it! I don't mind having to wait an extra eight months, but I do mind being treated like a sheep who will bend to its shepherd wherever he goes. We are not wool-bearing ovines who will shed the clothes on our backs just so some bigwig corporate leader can have another great, fancy coat to add to his already overflowing armoire.
