are we supposed to go through 2008 without harry potter? if the movie is already finished then why push it back? goblet of fire was released in the fall, and smashed the box office!
I and MANY of the people I know utterly support this petition, as it completely disregards and alienates the fans in favor of money (first splitting the last movie into two for more money, now pushing this back for more monetary gain? Give us a break). It might be unreal to say we'll boycott the release completely, but it would be VERY easy for fans to ban together to boycott the opening weekend -- and we understand how crucial opening weekend numbers are. Harry Potter fans are more than just 8 year old kids -- a HUGE portion of us are much older, much wiser, and much more crabby and stubborn and thus willing to forego all those midnight showings if it means taking a stand. This takes literally all the excitement out of it for us. Hopefully WB will rethink this decision...
Pushing back the release date is ridiculous and i dont support that decision. Why make fans wait when you can just as easily put it out .......if you're filming and cant put it out we'd understand but when its ready to go and you're just postponing it to make money....then we get pissed.
I support this petition. We all look forward to it at the Holiday season, not in the summer when we will be at the beach!! Give it to us in NOVEMBER!!!
I support this petition.
WB are fucktards.
If I saw a WB staff walking down the road, I'd grind the staffs face on the ground and shove a knife through its head.
I support this petition. I can't believe the idiots actually admitted the reason for delaying it! I could have swallowed the fact if they were just not ready. I will probably see it eventually but I can wait till its either cheap or free. I will NOT see anything else WB releases. You a...... will get little money from me.
I support this petition!!!can not get more money than we do this! Winter is a good time to launch it because we are all family and if what matters is the money the fans because we always accompanied by our family and friends, their income will always be high. stingy!
Nearly 6,000 people have signed an online petition in 10 hours since going up for the disapproval of the new release date. With the vast majority of the fan base threatening a boycott of the sixth film it would be extremely unwise for Warner Brothers to actually delay this film.
We will not pay to see this film - we refuse to, we will find it online and or other sources and watch it for free and on our own time if the release date is not changed back to the original November date. Competing in the summer months is finical nightmare - you had no competition for the time Harry Potter was going to come out and yet you make the idiotic movie to switch to the summer of 2009.
How dare you - How dare you switch the release date with a mere 98-97 days left until the movie comes out. Your company has a lot of nerve to crush the millions of Harry Potter fans and I honestly hope that the movie makes very little.
I don't know what to say except that this is extremely disappointing. Way to alienate the fans, guys. Making us wait 11 months will only make us lose interest. If you wanted to delay the release, you should not have released the teaser now. The teaser trailer just seems like false hype now.
