It's unfair to the strong HP fanbase to push the film back more than a year for anything other than improving the quality of the film, which you did not even mention in your statement to the press. We demand the film be shown within 2008, if not on it's original premiere date.
I support this petition. Harry Potter is not a summer movie. And, dear friends from Warner, remember that some of the most profitable movies were released in the winter (Titanic, anyone?? Lord of the Rings??? The first HP movies??). The teaser trailer looked amazing. Don`t let us wait almost a year now to see the whole movie!
I support this petition. This is disgusting! Maybe a month or 2 pushed back, but 8! That's appalling. If it leaks online, I shall view it on there and refuse to see it in the cinema.
It bothers me they blame the Union Strike. It bothers me it is entirely for profit and stockholder's interests. Consider that WB was worried fans would think splitting Movie 7 in two would be only done for profit. They assured the audience it wasn't. Well now this definitely is. As a customer I do not enjoy being considered only for profit, even if that is the truth. Goodbye artistic integrity. I will not be in a rush to see this movie when it comes out. I will probably seek a pirated version instead of seeing it multiple times and in IMAX. I will also not go to Florida for the Harry Potter Amusement park, as I will surely be ripped off. I'm just glad I finished all the books in piece before feeling so offended.

I support this petition. I am really disappointed for the reason of this delay, if it was for filming problems I'd understand, but this!! Warner bros was my fav film producing company, but after this I'm really doubting my decision
