it sucks what happened and all... but most of the money donated won't even get to those people. and there's not much that an online petition can do. it's great that you wanna help out and raise awarness, but i'm pretty sure that everyone's heard about what happened and has had the chance to donate wether they embraced the opportunity or let it pass them by. so why not just leave it at that?
