This matter has been decided without any proper investigation and I find this frightening in the extreme. I encourage anyone connected with this case who has been served with a gagging order to ignore the order as it shows just how flimsy Norfolk social services case is. Only by shouting as long and loud as possible will you succeed in getting justice.
i know how this family feels we have had all 5 of ours taken into care because there dad smacked on of them and say he has assulted them social services are evil people who think its right to break up loving caring familys they need to be stoped and the law and goverment need to get there act together and look into the real people that harm there kids good luck nicky and mark
because the theft of children by the state is like something from the dark ages. How dare any government body claim to have the right to do this by means of secret courts in which the alleged facts and any replies to those assertions are not in the public domain.
Whether the parents are innocent of any wrongdoing is hard for members of the public to assess in such a secretive atmosphere, but facist activities, which is what this represents, are always best carried out in secret.
As a father and grandfather my heart goes out to Nicky and Mark. This entire saga is an affront to decency, love and humanity and Tony Blair and his government should all be ashamed of themselves.

I do not believe there is anything such as a fair trial in the Family Court system and the balance of probabilities. Members of the family have a diagnosis of osteogensis imperfecta and it is appalling that the family should be subjected to an indepth assessment over 12 weeks.

agents of the state who steal children from loving families are some of the worst abusers in the world. They are agents of vicious persecution who use Family Court secrecy to disempower families, feed their adoption targets, and hide their own cruelty and crimes.
this is not the first time the social services have got it wrong they are unable to admit their wrong doings and with the back up of the family court system, families in this position are guilty until proven innocent with overwhelming pressure they are unable to protect themselves and wouldnt it be something if the social services could admit they were wrong!!!! because this is not the first time that Norfolk Social Services have acted on impulse with the co-operation of certain Norfolk doctors. Lessons obviously haven't been learned i.e the neceesity of previous medical records and the ability to refer when the medical practitioner is out of his/her depth.
It is a sad fact that nowadays parents seem to have lost their rights and the social services systems have no idea how to listen to people anymore. I truely hope this couple can get their children back - this must be so distressing.

To loose a child to adoption is a life sentence to the parent and child, this family have already had stolen and adopted 3 children and to loose a fourth when the evidence is so obviously clear to all that this is a case of brittle bone disease and not one of child abuse.
The Family courts should become 'open' and the gagging orders lifted on members of the family. It is time that the level of evidence required in all adoption cases is 'beyond reasonable doubt' not as is the current state and on 'The balance of probabilities.

I know what it is like to have your children ripped away from you and there is absolutely no abuse...it's a genetic disorder. I am still fighting my battle and will not give up. Just as I know that Nicky and Mark will not give up. My best wishes to the both of them and keep holding your heads high.

because I fear a terrible mistake may be being made here. If Social Services are so sure they're not doing a 'Marietta Higgs', why gag the family? What do the SS have to fear from wider scrutiny? If this family carries a brittle bone condition, but nonetheless Social Services are so sure of their case that they're prepared to tear them apart, then let's see and hear all that's going on here. An apology 10 years down the line after a belated enquiry won't begin to rectify the damage an error would cause.
because the stress of this situation is intolerable for all of them...keep them together whatever it takes - nobody has any right too take away 'hope'..ssd know they can do this if they really wanted and put in place positive steps to keep them as a family. When the state is going to permenantly remove a child from its parents to be adopted, the standard of proof must be beyond a reasonable doubt-adoption is a life sentence.
The Hardinghams have been failed not just by the state but because the law has turned on itself and there is now a presumption of guilt until proved otherwise-how could Nicky and Mark prove something didn't happen when medical science still knows but a mere drop in the ocean when it comes to genetic disorders.

Let the experts investigate this genetic disorder theory thoroughly before pronouncing judgement. I don't know Mark and Nicky but I think they, and their little family, have been treated abominably. I wish them all the luck in the world with their new baby and only hope that some way can be found to reunite the whole family.

The whole country has faulty social workers, all who can not tell the difference between innocence and guilty.......I know, my children 14 years ago were taken by their father who had raped and sexual abused and the ss helped him!!......so come on norfolk, wake up and at least someone come forward and blow the whistle on this system. You know the corruptness that goes on in it and you know there is plenty of us shouting out about it.....You know you only pick on the innocent because you see a weakness and leave the guilty to thrive......lets hope this campaigne will save this baby from your clutches and start to save all the rest you want to get your hands on....and make the biggest mistakes you never retract....

Because I don't think the children should have been taken away in the first place. I think that it's important for the new baby to be left with Nicky & Mark. I think it's disgusting the power that Social Services have. They seem to cause more harm than good.

i have witnessed how easy it is to have faulse alegastions made about a parent/s and how serious social services take mindless nasty anonomus phone calls made through spite or jelousy. if the police find no grounds of assult with the evidence provided how on earth did social services?? and whats more painfull is that 9 out 0f 10 social workers are young..inexperienced and dont even have children of there own. they are so scared at losing their jobs its almost become a sales rep job with targets and quoters a month. and all they end up doing is punishing the innocent and walking straight past the guilty.

as i think it is just as much a crime to wrongly fracture families as to leave a child in real abuse .maybe children like these will one day sue the system, or at least make them change it.
