I purchase a poster, paid for it minutes after I won it & was sent an email from Hersh several days later saying the item had been shipped. 4 weeks passed & nothing arrived- I emailed them & got..you guessed it an automated response. I sent them another email stating I would not accept an automated response and they emailed me back saying that sometimes thing take longer in the mail than expected- guess I am stupid!?! So...3 more weeks passed and the item finally arrived (total 8 weeks from the day they said it was originally shipped) I low and behold it had only been postmarked 5 days prior to receiving it!! In the meantime I left a negative feedback for Hersh & now they have the gaul to leave me negative feedback- guess paying for an item minutes after winning it deserves that kind of response! Let's get this guy dealt with before more people end up having to deal with him!!

Most people forget the worst thing this guy does. He hold feedback as hostage. I asked, e-mailed, called and even talked to Hersh himself. It is their policy to hold feedback to you until they receive theirs. With such ****ty service, people just say its fine because they are worried about the horrible nasty feedback they leave for you. Now they use their form fitted negative feedback twice with you, they are following up w/o you following up..sad

I sent him an email informing him that I sent payment. Not only do I get an automated reply, he reports me for non payment and tells Ebay I refuse to pay. Any emails that I send are replied to automatically. This is such a sign of poor customer service. I wonder if I'll ever get my postcard...

This is a fine example of how the fat cats push people around. eBay stand to lose a huge account if Adam Hersh is evicted and so are slow to act on complaints. In the meantime, people like me are ripped off at an alarming level on shipping charges and poor quality products. Paid $14.98 to ship a tiny poster which actually cost $4.00 to ship. When I tried to contact them there was no response until I got notification of a possible negative strike for late payment. Forced to pay with no support from eBay or contact from Adam Hersh, my frustration was compounded when FOUR WEEKS LATER a tiny, poor quality poster arrived in the post. The option of giving neutral feedback is no good here. It does not effect his rating though it reads as negative. Buyers should take a stand and leave negative feedback where it is fitting. I have only ever done it once - with Adam Hersh. I am waiting for the customary bully-boy response but I couldn't care less. His days are numbered and although as a small seller I have no wish to gain negative feedback, I will not be driven into a corner by these extortionists. Derek Egan

I will break open a bottle of champagne if this lot are expelled. It is unfair that they can treat people so badly, get so much negative and neutral feedback (which is in fact negative) and continue to operate. Do eBay buyers ever read feedback before they bid? They have just swindled me with obscene shipping charges on a tiny poster which took 4 weeks to arrive. I thought good communication was at the heart of eBay - auto responses do not count in my book. They are just a frustrating way of getting rid of people. When I tried to contact them to negotiate a better deal I was ignored and a complaint sent to eBay for late payment. I was therefore forced to pay for something at an extortionate rate in order to avoid a negative strike against myself. Yes, some of their postal charges are listed at the very bottom of a very, very, very long page. As a Seller, if I inadvertently overcharge on postage I always credit the buyer with the excess paid. These guys are selling posters at an average of 99p and making up the difference on shipping costs. I really wish the 'neutral' feedback option was removed. Take a stand and give a negative strike where it is so properly deserved. I have only ever done it once - Adam Hersh! He is making fools of everyone and laughing all the way to the bank. Let's get rid of him once and for all. Derek Egan

I won an auction MAY 15, 2005...it is currently JUNE 29, 2005...I won an auction from Mr. Hersh for a Wrigley Field poster that was supposed to have been sent immediately following my winning bid. It has been over five weeks and still NO POSTER. The trouble really started to pile up, however, once Mr. Hersh left me a NEGATIVE feedback comment AFTER I left him a negative feedback comment for his deceitful, finagling practices. The negative feedback he left was absolute bs, and makes me look like a fool (when in fact I've received nothing but POSITIVE feedback ratings since becoming an ebay member several years back. Mr. Hersh is currently trying to get me to clear both of our feedback scores, but I will not remove mine until I have the said product in my hands. Until then, Mr. Hersh deserves to be BANNED from EBAY for his dishonest sales practices. Thank you. Kelly Moylan

Right after I bought two poserts from him the nightmare began. When I tried to check out it redirected me to another web site of his and would not let me combined shipping. So I went on to his site and bought the same posters in a different checkout because it was the only way to combined shipping so I didn't have to pay extra. Then I e-mailed him the new confimation order number and explained how it wouldn't let me combined shipping. Then I get a bunch of automated e-mails telling me nothing. Then a mounth later I got a temporary suspention notice from ebay because this guy was saying I didn't pay for the two posters. So after about ten e-mails it finally got resolved. Meanwhile I still haven't got my posters yet so I e-mailed him again and I got them two weeks later. So then I opened up the package and fought the worst quality posters I have ever seen. They should even be allowed to call them posters. It looks like someone printed them out of a printer from the 1980's. So then I leave negative feedback saying Terrible quality poster, expensive and slow shipping, and checkout was a nightmare. Which I have every right to do. So then he felt that since I wrote negative feedback that he should to, even though I didn't deserve it. So to wrap it all up I Payed to much for shipping that took over a mounth to get, got a terrible product, and got bad feedback.

took two weeks for him to even mail my poster when he says, "be patient, it sometimes takes up to two weeks for you to RECEIVE your poster." Also, poster was completely creased up and down the middle from improper rolling. And as well, I have a complaint with the $5 overcharge on shipping as well. This guy is NOT a professional.

Won auction on June 7, 2005 (#7520107923) and instantly went to complete my checkout as I always do... Everytime the redirect was clicked that sends me from ebay to Adamhersh's offsite marketworks.com checkout system I kept getting error msgs and it wouldn't load. So I email him straight away to tell him of this problem and ask for a solution or an address to send my payment. I frist get an auto-response, then another auto-response that says checkout his FAQ section (also didn't help me) and if I still have problems email him again. So I did and got another useless auto-response, then another email that didn't help and retold me a portion of what was already in the FAQ section of his site and said if I still have problems to email this other mob. Okay so I email the other mob (clickout@marketworks.com ) and they don't reply!!! SO I email ebay help and after going through my problems again they help me find that I need the current updated version of IE6, I was using IE5 (this was worked out from the error msg's I was getting that Hersh was also told about in every email). So with no help from AdamHersh I was finally able to complete my checkout on the 17 of June and the MO was sent out. Then on the 21st of june Adamhersh lodges a non-paying bidder notice against me, so I reply via the direct reply to seller option and once again go through the whole story (any delay being his fault and that if it wasn't for ebays help I would still be waiting on an address to send my payment to) and he replies with a threatening email 2 days later saying I will be suspended from ebay indefinitely and what not. Hey! So YET AGAIN I reply and give the ever boring re-hashed recap on what has happened and no reply until the 28th and all I get is a your item has been shipped (or maybe not), down the bottom of the email it says how it has been handed onto the 'shipping department'

Fianlly after 6 weeks, he says it was returned to him by USPS cuz it was all mangled, but he would sure try and send me another one ASAP...now 8 weeks and still no poster....I'm p.o.'d..

My complaints are similar to those listed. This dealer does a HUGE volume, and so even though he has a large number of negative or neutral feedbacks, the percentage is low. His automated responder is annoying, but becomes a liability for the buyer when the buyer is being told repeatedly that the buyer owes money, when in fact the buyer does not. The seller even had my page marked as paid while he was sending me dunning automated emails. There is no recourse in many instances but to go back through the check out process and pay twice for an item. The bottom line is that "he" was no business sense--he is just dealing in volume and figures the small percentage of unhappy customers is worth the $$ he makes in volume. Additionally, "he" states he will ont leave feedback until you leave feedback for "him". This is one form of intimidation pressed upon the buyer. Many of his "positive" feedbacks, if read you really look at them, are actually negatives. There are many people on ebay who mark up postage. I usually wont buy from them. Thbis seller is a pro at it. He either needs to readjust his business practices, or leave ebay.

Paid for the posters on May 31st only shipped after I submitted a complaint with paypal on June 16th. Charged $13.95 for shipping that cost $2.58 and it was uninsured even though I was forced to pay for insurance. Posters cool but the shipping was untimely and overpriced. If I hadn't submitted a claim with paypal I doubt I would have gotten the posters. Only responded with automated emails that had nothing to do with my complaint.

I sent adam hersh a money order on april 18. A week or two goes by and I start wondering By now I've already attempted to email him and I decided to keep doing so. Then I open my ebay account one day and I see an ALERT. Its for a possible strike on my account for NONpayment. Since I had sent the money order nearly a month earlier I figured he must have never got it or he cashed it. So I email him and I tell him I'm going to go to my bank the next morning before work and see if it had been cashed. I told him if it hadn't been cashed I'd get another one issued and it would be shipped immediately. Then I tell him if it has been cashed he'll either have to ship my poster or my money immediately since the money order was made out to him only he could have cashed it. So the get this I get an actual response not an automated one. It was from some guy named Fred R or Fred S. Who knows I could look it up. I personally think this Fred guy or whatever his name is even exists. Anyways this "guy" agrees in the response that he'll ship me my money or my item if the money order had been cashed. I find out the next day that it is indeed cashed on April 26, I sent it on April 18. By now it was like May the 24 or somewhere around there and he puts a strike against me. THen he keeps asking for payment. So tell him straight up I'll have to pursue legal action against him if he keeps this whole fiasco up. He knows and I know he cashed it and I have the stub. So once I tell him about the legal action all of a sudden my strike is removed. To this day I have not recieved my item or my money back. And yet he continues to rip good honest people off on ebay. I actually went to his site and he actually has a book on how to sell thinks on ebay. I laughed I mean I relly laughed. This guys got a book I wonder if the book tells how to rip people off and get away with it. Hopefully with th

I received a poster that I ordered which was advertised as 24x36. However, it was more like 22x34 which makes it impossible to find a frame at a store to fit that size whereas you can find a 24x36 poster frame just about anywhere. So now, I have to get this poster that I paid $2.99 for custom framed if I want to keep it! Adam Hersh replied that his sizes are approximate. I believe he gave terribe customer service! Will NEVER do business with him again. Also passed this on to several friends who are e-bayers! And I also agree with the other complaints that his shipping is way too high. Give us a break Adam Hersh!

I have had a very similar experience. I ordered a poster and paid for it on May 17th. I live in the UK, I was told it would arrive in approx two/three weeks. I paid the day I won the auction and I am still waiting for my product. I have lodged a complaint with paypal and will hopefully get my money through them. I believe I was overchargewd on the shipping. I complained to Adam Hersh and recieved automated responses until I took the matter up paypal than I recieved an email from Hersh asking me to withdraw my complaint. I did not repond to this email and as a result Hersh sent another email apologising and assuring me that the matter was being resoleved. They still have my money and I have no poster, oh well, I'm putting my trust in paypal. I fully support having this seller removed from ebay and would advise anyone trading on ebay to avoid this company like the plague.

Hi, I have only purchased from this guy one time, but thats all it took. First, his advertisement was described as a movie when it was actually a poster. Second I emailed him stating I did not want the poster and I only bidded on it because it was supposed to be a movie this guy told me either I pay for the poster or he reports me to ebay as a non paying bidder. Third, I paid him because I like ebay to much to get suspended, and he charged me $6.99 for shipping and when I got my poster it clearly stated that he only paid $0.83 for shippinf. what a rip off. Finally I paid this guy through paypal and it cleared within 2 days and it took 25 days before I received the stupid poster. This guy is a rip off and a jerk and should not be allowed to sell on ebay.

Hi, how i wish i had found this sooner! i have bought approx 30 posters form this guy and he is a total rip off merchant. not only does he want me to pay $40 insurance wether i want to or not, but he is charging me $120.00 for shipping! i have said to him i can not afford to pay this much but the response is tough you bought them you pay for them, they are only posters not a box of bricks!. i have emailed time and time again only getting automated responses, when i finally did get somebody to reply i queerired their outrages shipping and was told it was the best price they could do, as they had to pay the suppliers for the item and also for labour!!! i am currently in dispute with this guy and ebay and it looks like i will have 30 non paying bidder strikes against me and be suspended from ebay, which is dreadful as i have been a loyal customer for 5 years and buy and sell on a regular basis. i can not help but think if the situation was reversed and i had sold these items and my seller was having money problems or think shipping was unfair i would do my best to help them by reducing postage to as little as i could,- mind you i would not have charged such rip off prices in the first place, but hey that must be just what genuine caring ebayers do, not money grabbing rip off artists like adam hersh. i can not help thinking that if ebay side with this guy what is the point of carrying on - i thought eaby was supposed to promote genuine sellers i feel that ebay ought to be deeply ashamed they even have this guy on there site. do yourself a favour and avoid this man like the plague. alix31

I bought a poster from Hersh and paid over $7.00 in shipping (probably cost him around $1.50) But, hey that's how a lot of sellers make extra money. I knew the cost in advance and was willing to do it because the $7 + the cost of the poster (.99) didn't add up to too much. BUT, I've been waiting over a month for delivery! And, emails to Hersh get answered automatically with a form response. After reading his negative feedbacks I found I was not alone. I know ebay makes money from sellers like this BUT, he should be warned that if he keeps disatisfying customers in this way continously, he will be banned. He is ruining Ebay's reputation for good value and fair play.

I purchased 1 poster, was also stuck with the high shipping & insurance charges, and I have still not reiceved my poster? I complained nicely, I sent 2 emails requesting to know the status of my order, eBay Stores #7317950462 -- Bosch Hieronymus Garden Delights Poster HUGE RISQUE NEW (20050606193400) that was suppose to be shipped 20 days ago, and now almost 3 weeks later (and a 4 days after I was told the latest would arrive) it still hasn't shown up. I have made other purchases on ebay and Amazon RESENTLY, some as little as a week ago, from all over the country and ALL of them have shown up? I wished I had researched & found this site before bidding. I have used ebay many times before and have never had this type of experience. but I can see that many people on this petition have the same if not a simular encounter with adam hersh, in ten days I plan to contact paypal to get my money back...but even this will be a hassle I know. I have not had negitive dealings with ebay on this matter yet but I just left my negitive feedback today. I have purchased and sold close to $7,000 dollars in mechandise through ebay, if they make an issue of this complaint I will go after them full force. I have money, a lawyer and lots of postive feedback on ebay, if they want to get ugly..I'm ready.. that would make me pretty sure that they know about this guy and look the other way...They are a hugh company...but look at Enron.. the corrupt always fall. I hope this is an isolated case and they get rid of this guy.

Hi: I just wanted everyone to know that yesterday when I was looking @ his negative feedbacks he had not responded to any of them. He now has responded to almost all of them stating "we are in the process of resolving buyer's issues. We resolve ALL issues. I have ordered and paid for a couple of posters from him. We shall see what happens. Hopefully he will resolve my issues.:)

Adam Hersh is a definite scam artist. If you look closely at his positive feedback many of them even say bad things. He charged me 25 dollars to ship 1 poster when the actual cost was only 3 dollars. This was a shipment to Canada and NOT stated in the auction. Oh sure, I could have emailed him but who would expect that someone is going to scam you with a 25 dollar charge!! NEVER AGAIN. ADAM HERSH SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM EBAY FOR GOOD!

I just bought from this guy alot of posters. I think it is 8. I didn't see the 1.99 ins on each item till someone emailed me about him. I can't get through to him. It is all automated. I may let them shut down my Ebay account over this. I can't afford to lose that much money. 17.84. I am also afraid I won't even get my shipment. I hope this helps get him banned.

It's only a couple hours away from me.

I made the mistake of purchasing a poster AND a frame from Adam Hersh. The poster was $0.99, the (unwanted) insurance was $2.98, the frame was $28.99, and the exorbidant postage was $22.98. The poster arrived (via USPS, negligible cost) but the frame never arrived. I'm out $55 for a $1 poster!!! Ebay ought to be ashamed to allow this criminal to continue operating on Ebay.

I complained nicely & was assured the other would arrive when I needed it, and now 2 weeks later (and a day after I was told it would arrive) it still hasn't shown up. I wished I had researched & found this site before bidding!

I was ripped off on a poster from Adam Hersh Auctions. The poster was poorly packaged and arrived mostly destroyed. It was mailed back to them via First Class but they claim to having never received it. I complained repeatedly to PayPal, and eventually PayPal refunded my money after I told them I was writing to my Congressman, urging that PayPal be regulated like a bank. If you went through PayPal to pay these fraudsters, write a strongly worded email to PayPal at service@paypal.com. I wrote another letter to PayPal after PayPal (not Adam Hersh) refunded my money, urging them to investigate for the sake of the 100+ people Adam Hersh rips off each month. I urge all others to do the same.

5/27/05Bought 2 of the same posters same day, same time. Was charged separately for postage and insuerance for each--OK, I was willing to pay this. Then, got two separate yet identical notices that both--BOTH--posters were destroyed by the Post Office, and did I want to choose another item? 1. How is it the Post Office destroyed two different/separate mailings? One I can maybe understand, but 2? 2. If Hersh combined the mailing (thus perhaps explaining why the Post Office might have destroyed both posters, how come I was charged full shipping and insurance for BOTH? 3. If I paid insurance on this item, isn't the insurance settlement supposed to come to me? Isn't close to passing any smell test I know of.

I bought 4 posters from him, 1 on 5/10 and 3 on 5/10. All were paid in full immediately w/ bank transfer. Like everyone else, I got ripped off with shipping + required insurance. 2 posters were 9.99 for shipping and 2 were 6.99 for shipping + insurance. Total shipping/insurance cost $33.96. He's a scammer and ebay just lets him slide. Once I finally got the posters, he had combined 2 of the posters together - yea, he was charged $2.04 for shipping them! Of course, the second I left negative feedback, he sent 2 of the exact same canned response all in caps as usual. Then I got an email requesting to withdrawl negative feedback .. whatever! Then I got another email from someone named Guy wanting to know what they can do to resolve the issue .. Told him to refund me $25.00 - imagine my surprise, I've never heard back! After all this crap with shipping - it took over 2 weeks to get the items .. EBAY must stop this guy -- if they don't they are just as bad as he is by allowing an obvious fraud to continue to do business!!

Shipping was something around 15 bucks for 4 posters!! Today is 5/22 and still nothing. I've emailed "Adam" 37 times (I saved all emails) regarding my order. I only get the same auto-email every time. I'm moving june 1st so who knows if I'll ever see my posters. Ebay must make big bucks from his high volume auctions-- WHY WONT YOU STOP THIS??

I will not leave him feedback, because he will just retaliate with his own negative & nasty feedback. He's evil! He needs to be reported to higher authorities and banned from EBay. Why isn't EBay looking out more for the innocent buyer?? I've already complained about this fraudster to EBay Customer Service. Please report this SCAM ARTIST any way you know how! My opinion of EBay has greatly changed as well. I don't think so highly of EBay anymore.

My experience on eBay with Adam Hersh Auctions wasn't as bad as some others, but bad enough that I felt the need to relate my story. Initially I only had my eye on a Rare Powderfinger OOP concert poster (item no. 5572820877) but, to seemingly make the shipping worth it, I also purchased Ruth Thompson Equinox print (item no. 5561157570.) The condition of the dragon print was stated as follows: "Equinox Ruth Thomspon Dragon Poster Blacklight - amazing poster in perfect condition - very rare." However, since the ad for the concert poster stated: "This poster is an original one of a kind - it is not a reprint - and is rolled in a plastic protective tube - (it) was sent back to us because it was damaged in some way during the original sale" :I sent a question on April 8th to inquire as to just how bad the damage to the poster actually was. After several auto responses, on April 11th I finally received a human response to my question: "The damages are minor, a few folds and creases." I felt, at that time, that I had no reason to doubt the condition of either the poster or the print, so went forward with the purchase of both on April 19th. I paid (via the suggested checkout system - Marketworks - 2 days later on the 21st) a combined total of $1.96 for the concert poster and dragon print .. not bad, eh? THEN I paid another $12.96 for the luxury of Hersh's professional shipping services and required insurance! I received the poster and print only two weeks later .. pretty fast considering others have waited more than a month and sometimes still haven't received their purchased goods. They were delivered good ol' USPS Parcel with Delivery Confirmation for a grand total of $3.22. So, did the cost of the tube take up the additional $9.74? Speaking of which, there was no "plastic protective tube" as claimed. They arrived, rolled together, in a cardboard tube much too large for the posters, so much so that th

Hi evryone, I never received my poster from this "seller" either. If it's not too late for anyone here my advice to U is DON'T WAIT PAST 30 DAYS to file a Paypal claim. Personnaly, I don't care WHO the seller is, if my item is missing by day 25 I start inquiring about my item and at day 30 a file is claimed. Period. When it comes to your money don't trust anyone, not even a seller with 100% feedback! I too got the emails from Adam Hersch saying "you WILL get your item/money" like putting "will" in capital letters is a guarantee or something! I ignored it and went straight to Paypal. Paypal gives the seller 10 days to reply to a claim. As arrogant as A.H. is, he didn't bother replying to Paypal either when they presented my claim to him. So Paypal voted in my favour and my money was refunded to me in full. Of course, as soon as I got my money back I got an email from A.H. saying that I HAD received my item (not true to this day) and that they await my payment. HA! He can kiss my bl@ck @ss! I'm just writing this hopefully to help anyone who sees this petition get their money back. My poster cost 0.99$ that doesn't mean I didn't work for that money so I'm not gonna take being screwed and neither should any of you. If you've ordered from this guy and you haven't received your item after 20-25 days, file a claim with Paypal and ignore all the crappy emails A.H. will send you to "convince you" you'll get your money or item. Do this with ANY seller you deal with. Ask about your item, keep the emails & dates and go to Paypal to explain what happened in chronological order. Luckily, I've only had to file 2 claims since I started trading on ebay but everytime I did, I got my $ back. Afterall as the buyers/customer WE are RIGHT! Good luck everyone and let's get this "seller" off ebay!!!!

Won item on 4/21/05 paid via paypal.com the same day. Never received my item. Tried to email several times only got a generic reply. Finally contacted paypal and filed a dispute and then somebody named Guy T contacted me saying drop the dispute and then i will ship your poster but not until you drop the dispute or to call his 800 number to work it out. Emailed back and told him i cannot and will not drop it because if i do and don't receive my poster i cannot reopen the dispute and i'm out the money. All i received back was another generic email message. Tried to call the 800 number several times only get voice mail, left several massages and still no reply. Yesterday i left neg feedback and got an email saying he wanted to get it right and was told to get it right ship my dam poster. Still no reply. I filed my dispute on 5/4/05 seller still has not responded to PayPal.com and has until the 14th. If he does not reply it will speed things up on my refund because it i will be awarded by default the money i paid. They will automatically deduct it from his account. I reported his actions fully to eBay, hopefully they will remove him from ebay. I would suggest to anyone who paid by PayPal and got ripped off to file a dispute with them, you will get your money back and eventually they will revoke his PayPal account and since PayPal and eBay are one in the same now eBay will remove his account for selling.

We got 2 posters from them, wanted to combined the shipping. We had a hell of a time on the "Checkout" system so we worked it out ourselves. One poster was .99 cents and the other was $3.25. We came up with the total of $16.21. I then started reading the feedback and got a little worried, so I called the 800# and did get to speak with "Guy" from Hersh and he informed me that the total was $18.20 a differance of $1.99 which was for insurance. He told me that when my payment arrived (it was by Money Order) someone would call me to see what to do. After a couple of weeks I received an email saying I still owed $4.65 to which I sent one back saying that was not the case. I received a respose back from "Anthony" and he told me to send the $1.99 and they would send out my items. I then explained that I was not going to get another money order for $1.99 when it would cost me about $8.00 to do that (I live in Canada). I told him to refund my money all for $1.99. To which they said they would minus a 2.00 "restocking" fee. I then had two "non-paying bidders" opened by them to which I sent all the information to ebay and funny how they closed them right away and then I got an applogy from "Adam" saying they where sending my refund out with no cost to me. I waited and still nothing so I opened a "item not received" with ebay and only then did I get a response from them telling me to close it. To which I said "no not until I receive the refund" I then got a email telling me the cheque # but not the amount. I finally received the refund but it was only for $7.97 which is $8.24 short of what I paid. I sent another email back asking where was the rest and got the response saying "anthony told you about the restocking fees" To which I sent the email from them saying it would be at no cost to me. Then he offers to remove my negative feedback if I will remove his. Blackmail! I have made it my mission to have eBay correct this problem. Bought 3 posters (all the same) and wanted, very simply, to inquire about purchasing a larger wholesale amount. His automated responses take you to a page that is completely useless. It took about 5 emails over 8 DAYS before I got a human being to respond. This person then referred me to the web site to place my order there. I tried only to find out that they didn't have the quantity I needed after all!! I gave up and found another source. His combined S&H rates are ridiculous and, although advertised, reflect a greedy seller.

TERRIBLE experience! I waited about 3 weeks for my poster before I emailed adamhershauctions. I received auto-response emails, referring me to their FAQ page. I finally got an email stating the post office "mangled" the poster and it would be shipped once they received it from their supplier. Apparently there was only one..Supposedly they received another poster and were going to ship to me so I waited and waited, then after I emailed they returned my email a couple days later and said that the post office mangled it again and would I like another poster or wait for the supplier to send another or get a refund, I chose another poster from his website. Alot of time goes by and I finally received a poster but it wasn't the one I bid on two months before and not the second one I chose from his website, it was a poster I didn't want or even asked for. So I gave him a negative after that, then he gives me one because I gave him one which is wacked because I am a quick payer. He said all I had to do was email and would have took care of it, well he didn't do anything at all to make this right. THEN, he sends me this PLEA to erase his feedback and he'll erase mine. No way; the only way to keep the eBay community honest is for people to be honest with their feedback. Now I notice ADAM HERSH made a request to eBAy for my personal information, which they provided to him. SO, now what's going to be his next move against me? WHY would he possibly need my personal contact information? HE IS A BIG SCAM ARTIST AND MOST DEFINITELY NEEDS TO BE REMOVED FROM EBAY.

WONT FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS! WONT COMMUNICATE! HORRIBLE BUYER!" This is the feedback I rec'd from Adam Hersh after waiting almost a month for a poster I purchased to have framed and give as an anniversary gift. I was unable to do so because 3 weeks from the date of puchase, I still had not rec'd it. I contacted the company - no response (except for auto-nothing) For what I paid in shipping, I should have gotten the poster within a couple of days following purchase. I was forced to lodge a complaint with the resolution center. Without any follow-up from Hersh (except for his standard computerized receipt letter), I left negative feedback which was well deserved. Prior to this incident, I HAD 100% positive feedback until I dealt with this unscrupulous seller. His feedback to me was completely retaliatory. Then, he follows up with a letter suggesting we mutually withdraw negative feedback. NO WAY, MR."HOW-TO-SCREW-INNOCEN T-EBAY-BUYERS!" I'll take the hit on the lower score, but if it is not eventually removed, eBay's going to lose me as a client. I may be one person, but 1 person X 100's and 1000's adds up. And this is all about principle - not money - with me. A NOTE TO EBAY: Do the fees from a heavy-hit lister justify unfair trade practices? If so, then aren't you just as guilty, ingnoring complaints? I don't know what they call it in other parts of the world, but in Chicago, it would seem you're acting as Adam Hersh's PIMP. Think about it.

I bought a 99 cent postcard from this seller. The "checkout" system he uses automatically fixed the shippping at $11! I emailed him several times asking him to change the amount of the shipping to 1.49, which is what it stated on the item's auction page. He replied back, after several automated responses, for ME to go back and change it MYSELF, but catch this, he disabled his checkout system AND Paypal from allowing you to alter the shipping amount. So, I told him I would pay with check instead of Paypal. I sent Adam Hersh a check for $2.48, which was cashed about a week later. The postcard didn't arrive, but I did get another email a week later from Adam Hersh, stating that I'd "forgotten" to include the "mandatory" insurance of $1.99! He wants to suck another $2 in "insurance" from me now, $2 to insure a 99 cent postcard? Now, I checked back through the auction page again and it said NOTHING about insurance being mandatory. I emailed him back and told him I would be unable to send him any more money for this little postcard and that I'd followed all of the "rules" outlined on the bid page. Two weeks later, still no postcard. So, I left ADAM HERSH a negative, because this was obviously a very negative transaction. Then, I get the predictable RETALIATORY negative "BAD BUYER, won't communicate, etc. What a laugh, won't communicate" - which is LAUGHABLE, I'm not the one with the "auto response" emails. I had only written at least eight emails to him at this point just to buy a 99 CENT POSTCARD. Then he LIED where I put in my feedback that he'd sent out TWO postcards to me...and added snottily..."would you like another"? THEN, he sends me this PLEA to erase his feedback and he'll erase mine. It is my opinion that Adam Hersh is a scam artist. He is not a businessman but someone looking to turn a quick buck on eBay. Not only was I overcharged (of course, he gets around this legally by telling you that you are paying for "insurance", etc) but the service was terrible (the poster came after I needed it and when I pay for 2-3 day delivery, I expect to get the package within a week) and when I left negative feedback he attempted to extort a withdrawl by posting negative feedback on my end that was completely untrue. I also suspect that the poster that he sent me may be a forgery. I plan on reporting him to the company that owns the copyrights and trademarks associated with the poster I ordered - but that is a seperate matter. I am not surprised that others have had problems with him - but am very happy to see that someone has taken the initiative to shut him down. I will no longer use eBay if they continue to let him conduct auctions on their site. I hope an investigative reporter picks up on this story - as I am sure there are others like it. To date, I have still not heard back from eBay regarding this matter. Maybe we can all get a class action suit against them and Adam Hersh? -suedehead1977

After winning the $.99 cent post-card, I attempted to make payment. Adam Hersh has the most byzentine method of paying that I have ever seen. When I tried to make a payment with HERSH's 'form' I was taken to another web-site with the INCORRECT ITEM NUMBER automatically inserted. When I tried to 'pay', I kept getting a notice that stated that the item could not be found or was not available. I sent e-mail, after e-mail after e-mail, ad nauseum, and the ONLY response from ADAM HERSCH was a computer generated 'FAQ' message advising me that accessing this again NEW SITE, I would find the correct answer for my dilema!! HA! NOT TRUE. Finally, I did get a 'notice' from A. Hersh, advising that they would notify E-BAY if item was NOT paid for. After nearly two weeks of trying to make payment, I was finally, purely by chance, to get the item number listed only to proceed to a final check-out page with MARKET..something...anoth er E-BAY site. BUT while there ADAM HERSH asks for additional information including my TELEPHONE NUMBER!!! Why does HE need my phone number? I was finally able to get to paypal, after all the detours, and made final payment. The item cost $.69 cents to mail...and HERSH charges $1.99 PLUS MANDATORY INSURANCE of $1.99 which I highly resent. I did receive the itme. BUT rest assured, I will avoid this ADAM HERSH as if he has the plague. What do all those negatives mean, if E-BAY will not do anything about them?? But, I will NEVER do business with this seller again. I Urge E-BAY to take a really GOOD LOOK at this seller and remedy ths problem. I truly hope that this effort to get ADAM HERSH off of E-BAY will succeed. Claude King buddy90057

I ordered a poster, and I payed 1.30 for it. When the transaction went through that is only when he informed me of the shipping cost. It was over 10$ I left a neg. feeback simply stating that shipping charges were ridiculous, and why was it 10$ for a poster? It only cost him 1.75 to ship it. Also because of my negative feedback, my item was bent when it was receved. Also he left feedback calling me a horrible ebayer, and please dont sell to me. I would like them out of Ebay for good.

I had bid on a poster and my computer locked up. As soon as I recovered to finish the transaction, it added another poster to my bid. I e-mailed him immediatly and asked for one to be removed and explained the situation. He told me I bid on it, so I was responsible for it and he refused to romove ONE of the two I had bid on. I NEVER recieved any e-mails back. When the auction was over he sent me an e-mail confirming BOTH won bids. I told him that I refused to pay for one because I felt he was unreasonable about it that I would be happy to pay for ONE immediatly. The next e-mail I got from him was through ebay saying that if I didn't pay my account would be removed from ebay. I filed a complaint and heard NOTHING from EBAY... I recieved another nasty letter from him telling me to pay or else...so I did pay...UNREASONABLE SHIPPING ont top of everything else...charged $8.99 shipping when it only cost him $2.67 for BOTH.When I left him negative feedback he bacame even more nasty about the situation. I recieved several e-mails after that asking to remove the negative feedback. I refused.I then recieved an e-mail from his "accounts manager" being really nice and asking me again. I told them they had their chance and I would NOT remove the negative for anything. Adam Hersh Auctions needs to be removed from ebay permanatly before he scams others.

I used the buy it now option and paid immeadiately. After over a month and 5 emails trying to find out the status of my order with no replies, it finally showed up. After I left him neg. feedback he emailed me and said my email didn't work, then slammed me in feedback saying don't sell to her. It was obviously an automated response as my name is James, obviously a man! He then attempted the black mail with the mutually agreeing to withdraw the negative feedbacks, I refused! I would rather have my perfect score tarnished by this than let him go scott free. He then tried to sound reasonable and send me an almost apologetic email, I let him know what his problems were and told him it was too late to try and fix this with me. He refused to answer any questions, any emails, and then when he did he told me he had no phone so I couldn't call there to work this out and that he did not make calls to customers. He does not know how to run his buisness any way other than BAD, he lacks customer skills, he lacks the ability to operate according to ebay guidelines, and I most certainly hope that ebay finally someday bans this JERK and retracts all the negative BS that he left for me and all the other VICTIMS of ADAM HERSH AUCTIONS

It was not the shipping, but the opt to "have it framed" I received the poster in a toilet roll one day, and the frame the next day. It said nothing about frame it yourself. I telephones and they wanted me to send everything back to them on my dime, and I don't play that way. Not only did I get robbed for 30, 35 bucks, I have spent much time on the telephone with this jerk. There was no reason for him to leave such feed back after I left him negative feedback. WHat really sucks, it was a poster of Einstein. I would love to see him off Ebay.

I won an auction for a poster, i paid IMMEDIATELY the amount that was requested and owed, i waited for weeks before it arrive bent/damaged/creased, so i tried to resolve the problem and i emailed Adam Hersh a number of times, with no reply, so i left negative feedback!!! and then 1 day later i receive negative feedback also saying a bunch of lies !!!! "THIS IS THE WORST BUYER ON EBAY! CANCEL ALL HER BIDS! SHE IS NOT SERIOUS! BAD!!!" For starters im a man, and i think this is just an automatic service that leave nagative feedback if you leave it. In early January 2005, I won a dozen eBay auctions for which I paid IMMEDIATELY using PayPal, including $34.95 which Hersh said would be the cost for U.S. Postal Service Air Mail Parcel Post. The package containing the order arrived THIRTY-FIVE (35) DAYS after they sent it, by surface mail at a cost of $6.35.

I paypal paid for the item immediately. I haven't rec'd it yet even though I paid $9.00 for s&h and $1.99 for insurance on a 99cent item. I left negative feedback-Why should I pay a MANDATORY $1.99 to insure something for 99cents? He left me a neg feedback and is now blackmailing me to withdraw mine. He deserves his- I paid immediately. What else do I have to do to be a good buyer? If a buyer pays and leaves a negative feedback because they never recieved their merchandise, they should not be given neg feedback. It should be against the rules.

I sent them a Money Order the same day I won the item . Then about two weeks later it was returned to me with " NOT AT THIS ADDRESS" written on the envelope . I called them and double checked the addy I had used and it was the right one . Next they had turned me in to Ebay as a non payer. I called Westren Union and inquired about the MO I had sent . I was informed that it was in fact cashed . When I brought this to the attention of AH and I received several threats to have my account banned .... It took well over a month to receive my poster ... The poster was total crap ... Looked like a home made copy .... I was threatned that if I left negitive feed back that I would receive the same .

It's hard to believe Ebay is still allowing this seller to conduct business with all the complaints they've received! Ebay is neglecting it's responsibility to it's sellers in allowing Adam Hersh to conduct business the way they are! Damaged items, incorrect payment information in listings making it difficult for sellers to pay, threatening emails to withdraw truthful feedback, item damaged on receipt...I could go on! Look at their negative feedback counts as compared to the sellers they're criticizing. I think you'll find most of us had 100% positives until Hersh came along!

I have the same shipping complaints - not only the price, but the manditory insurance that was never taken. When I left negative feedback about this practice, he left absulutely false negative feedback about me, and said that mine could only be withdrawn if I withdrew his. This is not a person doing business with any ethics whatsoever.

as with everyone else, i agree hersh's s&h is too extreme, but my problem with him lies in his feedback. my posters were totally damaged when i got them, so in my (negative) feedback i said that i was very disappointed, and he left my feedback saying that i am the WORST PERSON ON EBAY EVER! DO NOT SELL TO HER!!! well, all i said was i was disappointed. i am not evil. i am not the worst. if this guy ran any company with face-to-face customers, he'd be long bankrupt. i do not think eBay should support such nasty clients.

I bought 2 posters from Adam Hersh and Since I have an APO address in Germany, I understand overpriced shipping for somethings that require ups. however what is happening here is wroge he charged me 27.90 just for shipment for these 2 posters. and since I paid for them seperately, even though I bought them on the same day and the posters did arive in the same tube I didn't get any break on his shipment cost. which by the way only cost him 2.99. on yeah, and it took 6 weeks for the posters to get to me as well. I requested a shipment refund from adam hersh in return for a nuetral feedback and he never replied until I left him a negative feedback. and then of course, he was very concerned with me and left me a HORRIBLE BUYER! HORRIBLE BUYER!HORRIBLE BUYER! feedback, which I did not deserve in the least, since i made instant payment for both the posters. it's not right, my feedback was perfect until I messed up and bought over priced posters from him.

I bought a poster from Adam Hersh and it took almost 2 months for me to receive it. And he charged me $9.99 for shipping and when I received the poster, the shipping was only $1.99. I didn't get a repsonse to my e-mails to Adam Hersh until I threatned to leave negative feedback on him. Only then did he tell me that the poster was returned to him damaged and he had to send me a new one. I don't believe that because he didn't tell me until after I threatened to leave negative feedback on him. I choose to leave negative feedback on him anyway because it took almost 2 months for me to get the poster and I felt that he lied to me about it. I didn't think that he could leave negative feedback on me because I paid with Paypal a few days after the auction ended and he didn't have anything negative that he could say about me. But in retaliation, he did leave negative feedback on me, saying that I am the worst buyer on ebay because I complain and complain. I really don't feel like I complained, but I had every right to since it took him almost 2 months to get the poster to me.

The quality of prints I received were nothing close to the description given. I could of honestly printed off the picture in the description and had a better print. I have and sold over a 100+ prints, from various artists, and nothing comes any where near the poor quality of these. They don't leave feedback until you do so they can try to slant it their way. This is the first neg feedback I have ever given, and I have even received damaged prints before. I even tried top contact them first before leaving feedback and they come back with some bogus site that doesn't answer dick or treat you with any concern. They look too big for you to take on, they just look like a seller that people need to be aware of and deal with on their own risk...me never again. Thank goodness I only wasted a buck + shipping. I will not be selling such a print..I will just give away to some kids...

I purchased a poster from him and paid immediately via PayPal. The item was never shipped and he never answered any of my attempts to contact him. After 5 weeks, I left negative feedback on his account and he automatically left a statement on my feedback that I was the "Worst eBayer ever! Cancel All Bids." Before my unfortunate run-in with this guy, I had a 100% positive feedback. He is a liar and a theif, and unfortunately, eBay won't do a thing about it. I even paid for mediation through Square Trade, but Adam Hersh simply refused to answer any communications from them. eBay will not remove the negative feedback even though I can prove that it was factually incorrect, that it was left maliciously and that it was in violation of eBays own stated feedback policy. Adam Hersh commits fraud and blackmail and needs to be banned from the eBay community!

I bought and paid for immediately a 99 cent item and then e-mailed hersh with complaints about his S$H & insurance charges. (they were bogus) He ignored 3 emails and so I left a negative. He not only lied in his response (by claiming he did respond to my complaint) he left a vicious retaliatory feedback and then used it as leverage to get me to withdraw mine. I had a 100% perfect rating. This guy is an ebay predator, is using ebay to transact in unscrupulous business practices and ebay shamefully is doing nothig about the complaints.

I bought a "buy now" poster for $.99 and paid an extra $8 for shipping and required insurance. When I received the poster in the mail, the postage sticker said $.83 !!!! They are overcharging on shipping big time! Also, I had emailed adamhersh and asked that they cancel a bid I put on a poster 3 days before the end of the auction, they did not respond to me at all. I emailed twice. I ended up having to buy the poster. They left me negative feedback in capital letters saying I'm a horrible ebayer and telling other sellers to cancel all my bids. They are very quick to drop criticism on people. Jen N.

I never received my item #5165010270. I won it on 2-13-05 and haven't received it. I've tried e-mailing him 12 times with no response. So I left him a negative feedback. (which I had every right to according to Ebay policy.) To my suprise I received an email with the subject line "NEGATIVE FEEDBACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!" threatening me to "mutually withdraw" my negative feedback.Yet again to my suprise, he left a very personal attacking negative feedback on my perfect feedback score. It is as follows: "THIS IS THE WORST BUYER ON EBAY! CANCEL ALL HER BIDS! SHE IS NOT SERIOUS! BAD!!!" Ebay will also not answer my many emails. Signed: Steve Kohler 7steelers7
