For years the movie business has been absolutely ruining great movies with mediocre remakes. Now they plan to remake Rock 'N' Roll High School, a movie that in no way needs to be remade. Without the Ramones, it is not Rock 'N' Roll High School, and I think this remake should be stopped. It is sick and wrong to remake this movie. I LOVE the Ramones! I LOVE the original version of this movie. Howard had the Ramones on his show & professed to be a \"friend\" of Joey\'s. If he ever really considered himself a friend/fan, he\'ll throw this idea in the trash can where it belongs! Way to try to make money off of your dead friend you jerk! PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS RIGHT IN THE WORLD DO NOT REMAKE THIS MOVIE!!!

For the sake of the ramones(easpecally Joey, Dee Dee and Johnny Rest In Peace), DO NOT REMAKE THIS FILM! Even if it does involve a different band and not the raomes. It's NOT THE SAME. Nor does it capture the feal of what that movie was about. Like stated above, THE RAMONES WERE ROCK N ROLL HIGH SCHOOL! Nobody else can even come close. Howard, your a peace of junk, get over yourself and don't take away what very little Ramones stuff that is still sacrid and near and dear to so many.

For the love of everything you hold dear, PLEASE don't remake Rock 'N' Roll High School! Have recent remakes gone well? Nope, so why ruin a classic and not make decent box office revenue? Let us old punks keep at least this one piece of our culture unmolested! The Ramones are wholly and way off limits!

Howard, please don't remake Rock 'N' Roll High School. People may learn who the Ramones are and upon hearing will think all classic rock was that shit. That is way the kids of today ignore classics such as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Yes. They listen to some Green Day then a punk elitist tells them they are poseurs and says the Ramones are real punk. Because the retarded punk wannabes want to be 'real' punks, they say the Ramones are the best band ever and start to listen to it. After a while, they realise that Green Day and the Ramones suck. Unfortunely, they'll think all Classic Rock is like the Ramones and avoid it.

As a film director and major ramones fan I am disgusted at the fact that stern is remaking this film. Not only do I have a problem with the casting of a crappy band, but rock'n'roll high school is one of the greatest B grade films I have ever seen. PERIOD! Just imagine who's gonna be cast as Riff. Scarlett johannsen? If this takes place I am boycotting anything to do with Howard Stern

I finally saw this film a couple days ago. I couldn't see it as a midnight movie because my appendix flared up and I was in the hospital. This isn't a very good film to watch by yourself, but to watch it in the context of a "midnight movie" is probably a lot of fun (similar to Rocky Horror). Roger Corman films are hard to swallow. The Ramones kick arse and I can't see how Stern could remake this cult classic.
