It has recently come to my attention thatpeople seem to actually think good charlotte is a credible punk band. Let us not forget all the other bands that came before good charlotte that pioneered the act of rebelling against the system.
John michel ritchie would be rolling over in his grave (Sid Vicious of the sex pistols) to hear that such a band had actually been placed in the genre as bands like his. I'm not saying that they are a bad band (even though they are) but punk is all about freedom and rebelling and corrupting the youth good charlotte does none of the three.punk has nothing to do with how much you hate your dad. So I am begging for people to see through the facade and stop the madness.

ok i like good charlotte but im not obsessed with them like all the other ppl on here are. and i agree with you, they are not punk and everybody has forgotten what it really means to be punk.
