There are 22, 5 million people currently living with HIV/AIDS in South Africa, and everyday, 800 people die from HIV.

Anti-retroviral drugs used to treat HIV are only reaching a quarter of those who desperately need it – over 525,000 HIV infected people are still waiting in need of immediate treatment. But will it ever come? Many HIV infected people have no choice but to wait until they have access to treatment, getting sicker and weaker as time passes. For most people, access to treatment never comes, and they die left untreated. Due to the high cost of ARV treatment, and the fact that treatment is inaccessible to thousands throughout South Africa, many HIV victims are forced to suffer in silence. But you can put a stop to that.
