We, the players, coaches, parents and fans of Metro Hockey League teams petition to have the ritual handshake after the third period concludes, instead of before the first period.

We believe shaking hands before the first period takes away the sportsmanship which Metro Hockey League, Minnesota Hockey, Minnkota Hockey and USA Hockey all strive to ensure within their players.

We ask that Metro Hockey League reverses their current rule to what the players, coaches, parents and fans would like.
