I think this is ridiculous. If this law is passed the mall would probably lose business. And this is one of those places that is used basically to hang out with friends. Who wants to hang out with friends in the company of their parents, NO ONE.

These rules are ridiculous. The mall is a place where teens go to hang out and have fun with there friends. If they keep these ridiculous rules where would we go, those whos parents dont want to be at the mall a lot or those that arent 18? I'll tell you where a lot of them will go, to the streets to start trouble. Most teens like to go to the mall with there friends, to be with them to sometimes get away from there parents. There parents drop them off and then pick them up after. These rules need to go. They are so stupid.

this is bogus. If someone wants to cause trouble,have them. I think there should just be more police officers in the mall,they don't neccarily have to have uniforms on either.
most of the stores are for teens and teens usually have more time to go to the mall on fridays and saturdays some people have work and wut not every other night i think its stupid on the malls part because they will end up losing lots of customers and then shutting down

This is one of the stupidest things i have ever had. I have been going to the mall for along time alone with friends and shop and walk around and see everyone. This is bull****. At first all my fridays got cancelled because rock 'n rollerskate closed. Everyone has been coming to the mall scence thatb closed and now you are going to ust close this for the 1's that go. So this mean you would rather have us doing drugs on the street. We don't need to go to the mall holding ower mommy and daddys hands. Most of are parents drop us off at the mall because we want top have fun. If they didn't drop us off then that would prob. mean they don't trust us. I think that not letting people under 18 go without parents is so outragious becase that is like the only place were people that are young can hang out while their parents are at work or other places. This is quite possibly the dumbest thing that holyoke has ever done. You are creating a restriction during the school year for people under the age of 18. These people are still in school and the only nights they even can go to the mall or anywhere else for that matter are Fridays and Saturdays. If the "older shoppers" feel threatened by us shopping in groups and hanging out at the mall ... then they could just go during the week or during the day on friday or saturday.

I know that some kids cause trouble, but my friends and I DO follow the rules. You're going to lose a lot of business because most kids aren't allowed to go to the mall on schoolnights because they have homework and need to get sleep for school. No teenager in their right minds would EVER go to the mall with their parents! The mall was the LAST place for us kids to hang out at since skating at Rock 'N Rollerskate closed. Now where are we supposed to safely hang out with our friends?

it is pretty stupid that you can legally drive a car by yourself at 16 and 1/2 years old but you cannot go to a mall by yourself until you are over 18 when driving a car is far more responsible than walking around and hanging out with ur friends at a mall.

There are very few places younger teens can hang out with friends these days. The mall i our last place to get together and hang out. I relize so people may cause trouble but were young and stupid, i my self have friends who have done some rather stupid stuf at the mall and once they get warned they stay out of trouble aking me to help see they dont do any thing wrong. I think it is grossly unfair to punish well behavied kids by restricting their visits to the mall.
Those involved in unacceptable behavior should be dealt with by security people in an appropriate way.
