1. they got caught stealing

2. they got caught doing something they shouldn't have been
If you weren't doing either of these things, you should still be allowed in the mall regardless of their age. Aren't stores going to lose business anyway?

What is this going to do? It won't prove anything. It's supposed to be a public place. If it's because oplder people get intimidated by large groups of teenagers then that's pretty dumb. If they're so scared of them then they should just avoid them. Yeah, they're all over the place but you can still avoid people. There's more than one level to the mall. And older people don' usually shop at the stores that they are "scared" of anyway. A lot of stores are going to lose half their business by kicking teenagers out.

This is against the first amendment- freedom of assembly. If there are no reported incidents, and no specific reason other than "older people" (no actual numbers/data provided) are "intimidated, " then that is a business move by the Pyramid group to get people with larger bank accounts to shop. The teenagers are better advertising and provide more business for the kiosks and food court. Honestly, I am against it, even though I am turning 18 in the fall. It is absolutely ridiculous to try and make the mall exclusive. Besides, how was limiting teenagers from anything held up? The system will have loopholes and they will be found. It is just a matter of time.

how is this going to help anything. if your worried about stealing then this wont solve anything becasue peopel over 18 steal too. and just becasue someone is 18 doesnt neccisarily make them more mature than someone that it 16 or 17. and the mall is going to loose so much buisness becasue of this. the weekend is when most kids under 18 go to the mall. becasue they have school durring the week. so this is a pretty bad decition
