I support this petition! This IS discrimination and absolutely ridiculous. Everyone knows her glasses/leaves speech was phenomenal. If you want to get rid of someone, get one of the writers. They're the ones that wrote it! She just did what she was supposed to be doing... I LOVE BROOKE SMITH!

As our World takes 3 steps forward with the election of our new African American president, it's a shame that a network afraid of diversity takes 5 large steps BACK! I applauded your representation of a same sex couple on Primetime TV over the last several weeks, and admired the reality Gray's Anatomy finally embraced through these characters. What are you afraid of? Change? Bring the diversity back to your show! It's disappointing to finally be represented and suddenly "DRIVEN" away... Sad
Firing Brooke Smith was nothing short of discrimination. She did an amazing job with her part; the glasses speech alone is enough to prove that. Honestly, you can't blame her for lack of chemistry, nor can you blame her for the "explicit" storyline. Both of those are due to the writers, so if you want to be bigoted and moronic, fire one of them. And by the way, explicit? Really? They kissed twice while fully clothed. Considering how much time Callie spent sleeping with Mark, I was hoping you'd understand the term better. Brooke Smith did not deserve what happened to her, and firing her was nothing short of discrimination. End of story.
I support this petition. Brook Smith is an impressiv actress, a smart, beautiful and hot woman and did a beyond brilliant job. She is an indispensible character as erica hahn who distinguish oneself in her intensity in profession as well as in vulnerability and innocent passion.

I was, until this point, an avid viewer of many programs ABC had on its schedule. I will no longer support ABC with my viewership. Not because they chose to alter a story line or eliminate a character, but because they have done so in such away to leave the world thinking that it was because two women were pursuing a serious monogamous relationship with each other. If this is not the reason for Brooke Smith's abrupt firing, ABC's lack of explanation has given the impression that it is the reason. I support this petition.
