I support this petition. What they did to Brooke is outrageous. If you don't like the relationship, kill it off, but DO NOT fire the ACTOR playing after a script! And I totally agree, this is not the 18th century. It's 2008. for crying out loud.
I support this petition. Dammit im all the way frm S'pore & I say bring Brooke Smith & Erica Hahn back to Grey's Anatomy. She is an amazing actress & if the 'leaves' monologue didn't show how great of an actress she is & Hahn has so much potential. So they're gonna leave the story hanging just like that? She doesn't even get a proper goodbye - Isiah had a proper storyline to have his character leave. This is clearly discrimination on ABC's part - canceling the only same sex relationship currently fair. So fcuk ABC. & to the one and only Brooke Smith, I speak for every one who signs this petition. WE LOVE YOU & YOU DID OUTSTANDING as Dr. Hahn!

There's NO reasonable reason to fire such a talented actress and destroy such a potentially great storyline.
Why? Just because she's playing a lesbian? I thought we were in 2008, for God's sake.

Brooke Smith was a great addition to the show.
This storyline meant a great deal to fans all around the world, even the parts that were quite offensive to the community..but we chose to overlook those in support of a relationship that was refreshingly honest.
Sadly whoever made the decision lost their nerve and pulled it for what ever reason, anything to do with the falling ratings? anything to do with the hard core straight audience who will undoubtedly be voting 'yes' on prop 8? who knows, but as a result i for one will no longer fund this lack of positive visability and stop watching any ABC programmes.
