I support this petition. Brooke Smith is a wonderful and beautiful actress. Erica Hahn had the potential to be a fantastic character and you had the opportunity to portray a groundbreaking storyline which would have had its place in TV history. It could have brought praise to ABC and Grey's Anatomy. Instead you've taken the cowards way out and will be remembered for nothing except mediocrity and dissapointment.
I support this petition. ABC was very wrong in axing this character! I'm not so much shocked but being such a large network I would not have expected this to happen.
ABC can stop the Callica storyline if they feel discomfort, but there is no reason to write (or just end!) Erica Hahn on the show. Any visibility, relationship or not, would be a step in the right direction. Plus, Brooke Smith is an amazing actress.
Hi I from Brazil and I would to say that Dr Erica Hahn is a great character and the storyline with Callie was very interesting.
By the way the show need someone like Hahn.
She is hard but sensible too.
We just have to look how she reacted, when she knew all the Izzie/Denny/ stolen heart story from her patient.
and how she cried when she found herself as a gay person.
The other character are amazing, but everyone ther is so nice and funny or sad.
Bayle was hard, but now she is soft as the others.
The shoe need someone hard that will learn be more human- being.

I support this petition- if only for the fact this kind of attitude affects my gay friends, not because i really liked the character. What world are we living in when one group of opressed people get embraced yet others get pushed away? Geez- abc need to grow up, this is big bad world and we are used to being exposed to all sorts - whatever your view.

I fully support this petition! Grey's was going downhill when Brooke Smith and Erica Hahn stepped to the plate. They got bases loaded and sent Grey's surging ahead with a home run! Kicking Brooke off the team? Not cool! Not cool at all! Peace out ABC/Greys!
I TOTALLY support this petition!!! Brooke Smith owned this show! Hahn was the best doc on the block and had many potential storylines! I for one would have loved to see more of her and Cristina! Grey's Anatomy? ABC? Last Thursday was my final appointment with you. I shall find a new place to call home! Perhaps FOX who isnt scared to portray gay?

I find this situation ironic. Didn't they fire an actor for using derogatory namecalling towards a gay actor? Now, they're firing an actress for playing a gay character, which they created in the first place. So all these are for show? Or rather, all these homosexual stuff are only applicable to actors and not to the executives?

I support this petition. Brooke Smith is a talented and amazing individual. The treatment she recieved from the ABC network was cruel and unjust. The wrong done to her should be fixed and her character brought back even if as a guest actor.
Erica Hahn has easily been one of the best characters ever depicted on Grey's - smart, tough-talking, opiniated, and no-nonsense, all of which are great for drama. To lose such a character for homophobic reasons is both galling for me and extremely foolish on the network's part, which had in her both a wonderful addition to several plots and an opportunity to tell stories about gay and lesbian life which need telling. Bring back this great character!
Brooke Smith is a great actress. Erica Hahn is a complicated, interesting character. BOTH should stay on the show. (Why is a tough female "unlikable" yet Burke was ok?)
