The amount of explicit content shown in relationships on a ridiculous number of TV shows today -and they single out a gay one to hack off at the knees?
But you know the really sad thing? I'm not even surprised.
I support this petition. I strongly urge ABC to bring Brooke Smith back onto Grey's Anatomy as Dr. Hahn. I support her relationship with Callie, and would like to see it further explored.
Erica/Callie is one of the most interesting storylines right now. It would be sad to just cancel it so very soon!
Erica Hahn is a fascinating character, one of my favourites. I would be quite disappointed to see her leave.
If you wanted to end the relationship, you could have done in in a better way than just having Erica drive away never to be seen again. That is classless and an insult to the fans and actors invested in this storyline.
On top of that, letting Brooke Smith go just for that reason is entirely unacceptable. Shame on you, ABC.
I support this petition. I'm straight, but my sister is a lesbian. And I really hate how gay people are still treated these days. Congratulations ABC - you lost some more fans!
How many times do you guys think you can get away with this anti-gay bullshit exactly? I hope GLAAD slaps your asses on CNN again for the world to see. I suggest you stop messing with the gay community; this isn't the 70's -- the gays can bash you back.
I am so tired of gay storylines being written out of shows at the actors', shows', and fans' expense. This is going to far. Without Brooke, I'm done with all ABC shows.
I support this petition.
I am a huge fan of Grey's Anatomy and I was really disappointed to hear that Brooke Smith and the interesting character of Dr Hahn that she plays is being let go so abruptly. Please bring her back and develop the relationship between her and Callie Torres.
I only started watching Grey's because of the realistic portrayal of two women who realize they have feelings for each other, and how they face the initial awkwardness and potential backlash from their community. As a gay viewer of the show, I am hurt that the storyline would be abruptly cut off, and regardless of the true reason, it looks like ABC has given in to right-wing pressure. Shame on you. Consider me a new Thursday night viewer of the Office and 30 Rock on NBC.
