Every year,thousand of healty,unwanted,or "lame" horses go to the slaughterhouse for human consuption for diffrent countrys.also,the prmerin buissness send thousands of foals to the slaughterhouse,because the only reason for them to be born is for thier mothers urine.No matter if the horse was a world champion,a companion,a friend,or even just a baby,it doesnt matter.The heartless people who send them thier for the horses mistakes,or even because they simply just dont want them anymore can be educated on the cruelty and hatred these so called "slaughterhouses" have for horses.It is just too hard to put into words,but if you would visit these site,it would be much apprciated. www.hsus.org/ace/11787 www.hoofpac.com/ www.savethehorses.com/ www.animalsvoice.com/PAGES/archive/horse.html

I support this petition because horse slaughter is cruel... It is not humane at all. How can people just not care about the horses...a horse cant make one little mistake but its alrite for everyone human to make mistakes? Well its not. Or its alrite for a horse to be put down cause its leg got broken and you can no longer race it but its not alrite for humans to be put down cause they got hurt? Its stupid. Although many people think that horses/any animal for that matter, has no feelings/or understanding so its alrite for them to be killed, when really they are almost exactly like us. The eat, they sleep, they think ,they have their own minds and although they maynot have two legs and arms, they have feelings. When they hurt themselves they may limp if they hurt their hoof or they may not even let their foot touch the ground...Sometimes they wont even show they are hurt...But they have understanding also...My horse i have 2 but my horse when i cry i go out to the barn...well i will stand or sit in her stall and she will nuzzle my cheek or try to make me laugh by tyring to eat my hair or if im standing, she will put her head over my shoulder kindof like people give hugs...they are magnifiscent creatures and i hope that one day people will realize just how magnifiscent they really are. I may be 14 years old but i love horses and i would die to save them. So please all im asking is for help to stop horse slaughter...its not rite and hopefully with help, people will come to terms and see that magnifiscent creatures are being slaughtered for the stupidest reasons.

PLEASE STOP THEINHUMANE TREATMENT OF THESE BEAUTIFUL ANIMALS, IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THE MARE IS EMPREGNATED, THEN MADE TO STAY IN A STALL FOR THE FULL 9 MONTHS TO GET HER URINE, THEN THE FOAL IS KILLED! THIS ISDEAD WRONG.

I am a horse lover they are my passion!! i hate people who drive the horses to the AWFUL places and the people who kill the horses!!! i feel so bad hat i cant go save ALL the horses fromthe terrible fate!!! i wish the people who kill the horses could feel how much pain and suffering the beautiful horses feel!!! they need to be STOPPED!!!

This is a tragic situation that needs to be dealt with. Please stop this inhumane treatment of these animals. Most of them are healthy and this is not a way for any thing (horse or otherwise)to be treated. Please end this NOW !!!!
