I support this petition. I just finished watching this movie for the first time. Though I believe Terrence Howard is a little bit soft spoken for the part, I agree that continuity is more important. If they want D.C. to play the role now they should've put him in the first one. My question is this, when the Avengers comes out 2 1/2 years from now will spider man be in it? Considering Sony still owns the rights I'm guessing not. And to be honest if they did make this huge budget movie of all movies that they are building up to, which I think is engenius, with all the big name actors in it I hope they pump out a 3 hour super Avenger movie.

You can't take a strong black man like Terrence Howard, and replace him with a wimpy looking guy like Don Cheadle. That would be like taking Samuel Jackson out of Pulp Fiction and replacing him with Eddie Murphy. Not to say that Don Cheadle isn't an Oscar-caliber actor; he just doesn't have the physical presence Mr. Howard does.
