This is NOT a slam to Don Cheadle, but Howard fit and defined the role very very well. So well in fact that seeing Cheadle play the role would be distracting. The role should be Howards in upcoming movies.

I believe that Howard needs to be in the Iron Man sequels, he plays the part of Rhodey well and I CAN NOT possibly imagine anyone else fitting into the role of War Machine. The Iron Man sequels will not be the same without Terrence Howard as Rhodey! And knowing that Howard was unjustly cut off of his contract ruins the future Iron Man movies for me. BRING HIM BACK!

No offense to Mr.Cheadle but Howard is a better suited actor in terms of physicality and style. He's more suited for a rough and tumble character like Rhodey.
