I'm not sure why it happened, but if it was about the money then marvel should have gladly offered terrance more money for suiting the role of james rhodes(by that i mean war machine) so goddamn well. If he's not in the sequel, the movie will lose alot of fans and might even tank at the box office. So give the role back to TH or burn in hell!

it seems like Marvel will never learn...they seem to screw things up.. just when I was starting to have hope. They never listen to us grassroots folks. they screwed up the x men big time.. semi screwed up spiderman..and it looks like iron man might get screwed too..I liked the new Hulk though.. I am seriously thinking of boycotting marvel for messing up all the cool childhood memories I had of these characters. I like Don Cheadle, but I'd rather see Terrance in this role. You can't have one big star replace another big star it's too much of a distraction for those that are excited about the movie. Place the hype around war machine is too big so people have already placed a spotlight on this particular character. Change is good, but not in this case.

Please bring back Terrance Howard! It was heartwarming to hear Terrance talk about how excited he was taking on the role in the first Iron Man. Hearing him talk about War Machine being one of his favorite hero. [not to mention one of the few Black superheroes at the time] Having the chance to play the role was a dream come true for him. It shouldn't be about money, let Terrance be War Machine, it won't be the same without him!

I support this petition! I don't want to have the movie turn into "the adventures of Tony Stark and...DON CHEADLE". The focus should be on IRON MAN, keeping a smaller name actor in the role of Rhodey will help. Don Cheadle and Terrence Howard have totally different styles, and Mr Howard brought the character to life. Cheadle's Rhodey will be a totally different character!
I support this petition. Recasts are lame. Terrence Howard was given a script and fifteen minutes on-screen MAXIMUM to portray James Rhode. Of course some people are going to think he wasn't bad ass. Thats not his fault. Its not his fault that he had to be a push-over to Tony. Thats the SCRIPT-WRITERS FAULT. Now think a little and re-recast him, or i will NOT watch Iron Man 2. Marvel, get your head out of your asses. Terrence did an excellent job. Whatever your grip is you are certainly setting up yourselves for disappointment, as many fans loved Terry's performance and will not watch someone else take his place. No disrespect to Don Cheadle as he himself is a great actor, but Terry defined this role and made it what it is. Let him finish it. You want to make your money Marvel? You do the right thing and give Terry his money and keep him right where he shold be. IM2
This replacement was an outrage. If Marvel follows through, I will not pay to see another Marvel film or read another comic. I'll still see and read them, but I won't pay.
I support this petition. Terrence Howard IS Rhodey, having followed the comics for years I was SO happy when they cast him (1st I believe) and now they want Cheadle? No way!!!!
