I support this petition. You can't replace major caracters. When i first saw the movie and i saw Terrence playing Rhody i thought to myself yhis is what i imagined rhody to be.

It's not a sequel if they replace one of the main characters. Besides it's a franchise. Look what happened in the 3rd mummy movie. They replaced Rachel Weisz with Maria Bello and it just wasn't the same. I mean I like Don Cheadle he's a really good actor. But I was really looking forward to seeing Terrence Howard wear the War Machine armor. I think it's just ridiculous. It's not fair to Terrence Howard and it's not fair to the fans of "Iron Man". I just hope that he gets the role back.
First of all, a Movie can be a GREAT sequel if there are different actors i.e. Dark Knight - Katie Holmes. Second of all, Terrence Howard is the reason he is not in the newest movie. He thinks he is worth more then they offered him. So F--- the greedy B----. Move from one Oscar nominee to another, GREAT CHOICE. So, if this is a petition to convince Terrence Howard to get off his pedestal then I strongly support it, but if it is to get him more money after he turned down the role, I am very strongly in opposition!!!
I support this petition. Also, when I saw Howard played as Rhodes in Iron Man and I say to myself, "Wow, he's going to be War Machine." But everything went down when Marvel hired Cheadle to replace him, which made me really piss and sad at the same time!!! I mean who would really do this to Howard man that's just unfair for the fans of Iron Man and without him in The Avengers or Iron Man 2 it wouldn't be the same without him and guranteeing not fully that Iron Man 2 would be better than Iron Man. That's what I have to say this replacement from Howard to Cheadle.
A change like this is something you expect from a sappy, cheesy, campy, sci-fi TV show of the old days, explained away by some great disfigurement and reconstructive surgery. Total bull if you ask me. Love them both as actors, but Rhodey is already set in the minds of the fans with the face of Terrance Howard put to it. If Cheadle gets the spot, everyone will think of the Ocean's movies, and wonder where the accent went.
I support Terrance Howard to reprise his role as James "Rhodey" Rhodes in the future Iron Man film.
Seriously Marvel. This was a real DC move of you. Don't do it, live up to your respectful name.
I support this petition.Iron man was a hit because of the people in the movie but if they change one of the main actors in it its not gunna be the same at all and the role that terrence howard had in my opinion cant be done better by anybody else.
I support this petition. Terrence Howard did a wonderful job. As I was watching Iron Man, I was wishing there were more scenes with him in it. It was not because of his good looks but because of his performance. Terrence Howard is believable. I remember thinking How I was looking forward to seeing both Robert Downey Jr. and Terrance in the next Iron Man movie. I am just one person, but I am certain that there are many more out there that will truly be as disappointed as I will be if Terrence Howard does not return as James Rhodes.
I was really bummed when I heard Howard would not be returning. Ever since I saw him in Crash I have respected him greatly as an actor. Dont get me wrong Cheadle is a wonderful actor and he deserved his award... but this was Howards opportunity to get the credit he deserves. Cheadle doesnt need any more awards. C'mon share the wealth man!
In addition Cheadle doesnt seem to fit the role very well, just look at his figure. He has a very small frame and is lacking attitude to back up the Rhodey role. Granted, actors now can put on weight and bulk up for a role, but its been said before: Its not a sequel if you change actors! Good luck Terrance Im rooting for you!
Don Cheadle's face is too comical for a superhero that flies. Bring back Terrence Howard if he's going to wear the suit. Black folks won't like being made to look silly! Remember Jar Jar Binks!
I support this petition. You can't replace Terrence howard as he has already imprinted the positive image of war machine in the movie. Cheadle is a good actor but doesn't fit the comic characters role at all. As a comic book and movie fan, I would be utterly dissapointed if they did.
Come On. I am a huge fan of Cheadle, but Howard made the role his in IM1. WE, the FANS OF THE MOVIE AND THE GENRE, DEMAND the face we have attached to this pivotal character. You can see what happened in the BATMAN franchise when they kept changing leads for all 3 of the first umpteen...They got Clooneyed...No offense, George. It would be like bringing back a ringer for a second Joker in the new Batfranchise. Suffering Sycophants!!!
How can you replace a major part of this film? Altho they are both great actors, Terrence Howard is the man and deserves to be cast in Iron Man 2. I wont be seeing it without him in it.
I fully support this petition. The easiest way to destroy a series is to replace a main character. Do the producers think that the audience is that stupid to think we will not notice and/or care? No TH = No MF seeing this movie in the theaters or on DVD.
C'mon, Marvel!!! What are you thinking? Cheadle over Howard...maybe if the role were different and we were not expecting Howard's Rhodey to become War Machine! This is just wrong...
I support this petition! Terrence Howard IS War Machine! Come on! You have to fufill Rhodey's wishes when he sees the War Machine suit at the end of the first movie!
I support this petition. There are plenty of Marvel Comics roles either Don Cheadle or Terrence Howard would be great for but Terrence is Rhodey and to change that seems completely pointless. Terrence had great on screen chemistry with everyone so why change that now?
