We, the people of Husker Nation, are no longer going to support the Athletic Director, Steve Pederson, and the coaching staff of our beloved Husker Football team. With all the incompetence that has happened since Frank Solich was fired and the lack of "real" progress in our Football team, we demand a change in our current program. We hold Steve Pederson, Athletic Director, solely responsible for this issue pending. In regards to the Athletic Department, we have also seen a decline in our Sears Trophy rankings over the last 5 years. It is in disappointment and loss of vision with our program that we demand a change. If you do not respond to the Husker Nation, you will see a decline in revenue over the next few years from your prized possession, Husker Football.

240 15 Oct 2007 - 17:17    Chris Forch : As a member of the US Navy, I've never been embarrased to be a Husker until now, I hang my head in shame at the current state of Husker football. A proud tradition is eroding away as we speak. Just like in the US Navy, the captain is ultimatly responsible for his ship. The Husker nation needs a change of command before Pederson takes this ship to the bottom.

216 15 Oct 2007 - 13:07    James : Frank destroyed almost every streak and the last few have fallen under Callahan. Time for another change.
215 15 Oct 2007 - 13:04    Albert Casper : While Callahan was with the Oakland Raiders he dismantled embarrassed and turned a once proud organization into losers. Pederson dyring his stay at the university of Pittsburgh did virtually the saqme thing. Cosgrove stay at Wisconsin was no better as that team improved defensivily after he left for Nebraska. But most impotantly the person most responsible is the on e hired Pe4derson in the first place. The only record left now for Nebraska is its attendence streak which wqill fall within the next few years. You the so called powers to be know what needs to mbe done, so lets see if you have the courage to do the right thing.

207 15 Oct 2007 - 11:44    Michael C. Krondak : There is nothing left of the program but the sellout streak and if this coacching staff and AD stay in place there will be nothing left at all. Cornhusker fan in MN.
206 15 Oct 2007 - 11:41    Eric Nelson : The football program is no longer gravitating towards mediocrity. It's officially arrived.
205 15 Oct 2007 - 11:38    Darin Rich : This is *not* a knee-jerk reaction. This has been going on 4 years.Darin RichNU Alum, class of '87

201 15 Oct 2007 - 10:59    Doug Beckman : After seeing thousands of Husker fans walk out of Memorial Stadium during the OSU game, it is time for a change and it must start at the TOP.
200 15 Oct 2007 - 10:49    Shane Gallagher :
199 15 Oct 2007 - 10:46    Jeffrey Brown : Steve Pederson has killed Cornhusker football. We must have an AD that Nebraskans trust. Coach Callahan and Coach Cosgrove appear to be good men just not good college football coaches. They must go!
