Stop the proposed ban against the common skin care ingredient Hydroquinone which has used and trusted by millions of men and women for decades.
Millions of users and their families find the proposed ban unsubstantiated and unwarranted.
We both implore and demand that further testing and long term research studies be implemented prior to the drastic measure of an OTC ban.

Come on people! What if results show evidence that this drug is harmful? Do you really believe that the FDA, an organization ruled by big pharma, would jeapordize a cash cow like hydroquinone IF it did not have evidence that it is harmful? Think about all the FDA approved drugs that have killed people, point being the FDA will allow a drug to do some real damage BEFORE asking questions. That said, their is a chance that some ugly information is out there and about to come to light. Moreover, the EU banned it for a reason folks. The only reason the US has not is because the US consumer is WILLING to risk harmful side effects for vanity - I think we are proving that with this petition. For the love of God, step back and think about what you are doing and what is going on before signing a petition.

I've used 3% hydroquinone for over 25 years, and I haven't had any problems to my knowledge with this product.

I need this cream and access to creams containing this ingredient ~what i do not need is a doctor telling me what i canand cannot do with my own body let alone the FDA. If it wasso risky it never should have been on the market in the first place ~ ! Let me chose to go on ~ oldhabitsdie hardand I've been using thisstuff for decades !!!! thank you !

Women in our family have used creams with the agent all of their lives with no side effects or negative repercussions.I recommend the cream to anyone ESPECIALLY those of latin hispanic descent such as myself. My friend and founder of a group and list formed to prevent the banning of this cream has used the agent containing cream for years also and has a gorgeous complexion that i have always envied since I first met her ! I am caucasian american and puerto rican as are my kids. The women in my family have had nothing but GLOWING results and beautiful skin as a result of using this product. I feel strongly that women should have the right to choose to use creams containing thew agent without a presecription as has been for many many years.

I would be devastated if hydroquinone were removed from the OTC market.I trust it implicitly and have used it safely and effectively as directed for decades. The only action I feel should be taken against hydroquinone is to raise the percentage of the ingredient permissible in over the counter products !
