Until this moment, landing on this petition, I had thought my memory of the cookie was unique. It's quality and marketability remain, now, as it was in my childhood. Bring them back; make the better cookie that I and millions of others would buy.
It's been years. I'm 60 and ate oreo's when mom bought them until I found Hydrox in my 20's. Since then an oreo has not crossed these lips. For years now I wondered why? Even this day 12-16-06, I exclaimed to my wife while shopping,"I want some Hydrox". Bring'm back. They are a sweater/better cookie.
I love Hydrox. I do not eat many sweets but one of the few exceptions I allowed myself was Hydrox cookies. Bring them back. You could build a huge marketing program around their return. Maybe even do something like the Pepsi challenge with Hydrox vs. Oreo. First you would have to try a test market to make sure people really do prefer hydrox.
As many have said already, there was nothing like a Hydrox. Coming home from school, getting a big cold glass of milk out of the fridge and a stack of Hydrox was Heaven ! C'mon, have Keebler or one of those big companies start making them. My grandkids are missing out on a treat I can only attempt to describe.
Bring back the superior ORIGINAL. I was sitting here eating OREOS remembering how much better Hydrox were and wondering why I can't find them anymore and finally took the time to search for where they'd disappeared to. Keebler, bring back the original recipe, rename it, re-market it, tell the real story who the real cookie hacks are, and it will be AMERICAS BEST COOKIE!
I rarely go down the cookie aisle since they removed Hydrox cookies. Droxies are not the same as Hydrox. Plus who would want to have an Oreo cookie? Filling is too sweet and diminishes the chocolate taste.

Please bring this favorite cookie back. I have always preferred Sunshine Hydrox to Oreo as they have a much better, unique flavor and taste.... I have been looking for them and cannot find them anymore! I am craving them! I found this web site after searing high and low!
Hydrox has a real chocolate flavor in the cookie, and a fuller flavor in the cream filling. The filling does not overwhelm the chocolate flavor in the cookie as the cream does in other similar cookies.
i support this petition because Hydrox were the best! oreos always taste burnt. i can't eat them. Hydrox had a unique flavor that has never been equaled.
We held cookie contests between Hydrox and Oreo's and the best cookie"Hydrox" always was the winner. Please bring them back with that original great tasting flavor. Thanks.
I'm the only person i know that would contantly brag to all my friends and anyone who wanted to challenge me how much better tasting and real chocolate and cream cookies Hydrox were when compared to the artificial and chemical taste of Oreos. In fact, on more than one occasion, my friends would have me completely blindfolded and put me through a taste taste between Hydrox and Oreos. Sometimes they would have me taste them suide by side, sometimes they would only have Oreos that they would have me taste etc and not one time did I make a mistake andname the wrong cookie. That's how different and how muuch better tasting Hydrox cookies were. They were my all-time favorite coolies and I wish they would come back. Nothing went better with a cold glass of milk than the original sandwich cookie, Hydrox!
My siblings thought I was crazy because they dont remember HYDROX. Please bring them back with no changes in the recipe!!!!!!! Oreos cant touch them.Ive looked high and low. Thats how I found this website
We loved Hydrox so much that we named a pet after them! We adopted a big black cat with a white spot on his tummy. His ears were all chewed up from fighting but he was a big ol' sweetie, too. So we named him Hydrox.
One more note, the White Stuff in the center of Hydrox melts beautifully as you lick it when you pull the cookie apart. Oreos just never did that as well. Bring back Hydrox!!
Every time I go to the grocery store, my husband's only request is "See if they have any Hydrox cookies"...This has been going on for quite some time!!! Please bring back th Hydrox Cookie!
I miss Hydrox so much. Oreos have appalling ingredients in them, and they're not kosher. Hydrox were kosher, and you don't have to be Jewish to realize that kosher foods are made better and taste better. There's a market just waiting for Hydrox to return with their original recipe intact. Nothing can beat Hydrox cookies broken up into a bowl of Rice Krispies and milk. Heaven on earth.

NOT! Hydrox got its name from the chemical name of the hydrogenated oils used for its filling. This is pure heart-attack-inducing transfat! Oreo is probably named after oleo which is the same thing.
I grew up eating Hydrox, not Oreos. I had Oreo's but I always liked the flavor of the Hydrox better, they had more of a semi-sweet taste whereas the Oreos were more sweet than chocolate. Keebler is a good company with good products, there is room for an American classic in their line.

My father would only eat Hydrox cookies, not Oreos. I agree with him and also will not eat Oreos. Hydrox tastes better. Famous Amos are not as good as Hydrox. So alas I don't eat that type of cookie. Hydrox or nothing I say.
I remember Hydrox cookies being dairy free---I hope to see them again at the supermarket. My friend has a child who's allergic to dairy so I told her about Hydrox---unfortunatly have not been able to find them anywhere. Please bring them back.
Are you kidding? There is no comparison between Oreo and Hydrox.....Hydrox wins hands down. Oreo just marketed better and American people are easily fooled...bring 'em back!!!!!
