My folks bought Hydrox when I was a kid. I didn't know they were discontinued till now. I'd sure like to have some again. Oreo, not even a close second.
The Hydrox Cookie; I always wondered how anyone could compare dunkling an oreo vs. "the hydrox cookie." There is simply no comparison. In addition, those so-called cookie lovers that would take an Oreo cookie, slide the top off, and eat the cream, do not know the pure pleasure they missed by doing the same thing with "the hydrox cookie."
PLEASE BRING BACK HYDROX?! I have lowered my cookie eating standards since they have been gone. I miss them. They were the best. A billion times better than Oreos. =(
I went all over town tonight looking for Hydrox only to find out that they don't make them anymore and now they want to change the already awesome recipe! Hydrox actually tasted like chocolate unlike whatever Oreos taste like. Please bring them back!
Bring back that cookie! I must admit, it wasn't until recently that I began searching for this cookie in the grocery store. When I was younger, it was always a staple in the cupboard. Now, grown up, and having a home of my own, I had a craving for these cookies! Shocked to find that they weren't there anymore. BRING IT BACK!!!
I've been looking for this for five years in the stores with that slight hint of coconut...what happened? Please make a one time traditonal batch for your favorite fans...
I join hundreds of others across America, and that is, please bring back the Hydrox cookies. I remember them from my childhood days and they were awesome. Thanks!
I still occasionally looked for Hydrox cookies at the store, not realizing until today that they had been discontinued! I remember them being crispier and better tasting than Oreos ever were. Bring them back -- please!
There really was nothing like a Hydrox...despite it's fairly industrial sounding name, it really was a superior cookie with an inside that actually tasted like cream and an outside that actually tasted like a chocolate cookie...and they would get even better if you let them get stale and soften up. I will punch oreos in the face.
I was eating HYDROX as a child in the 50s introduced my chi9ldren to them in the 70s,80s,90s. now I want to give my grandchildren a taste of the good stuff and they are gone, please let the 4 generation grow up enjoying the great taste of HYDROX
why is it that when you come across something that you've grown up on, its suddenly taken away. I've looked high and dry for Droxies, but have had no luck. I live in long island new york. are there any stores that stock them? PLEASE HELP!
Bought Oreos, thinking they were Hydrox - absolutely NO Comparison and didn't realize Hydrox were no longer on the market. Bring them back, pleeeeezzeee!!
hydrox cookies were the best, please bring them back. the centers were cool on the tongue and melted appropiately, not like a sweetended crisco lard smudge... the chocolate cookie had the best ever flavor ! we all deserve hydrox !
The only thing Oreos had over Hydrox was marketing muscle. If there is a market for cookies embedded with M&M's (ugh!), there is a substantial niche for Hydrox. Go for it, Keebler!
Much better than oreo cookies!! My sisters and friends always used to compare the two cookies-- no contest! Both the filling and cookie won hands down.
I miss Hydrox so much. We have a big disagreement at work about which is better; Hydrox or Oreos. I am in the minority but I know I'm right! Please don't change the receipe when you bring them back.
I grew up in Sayreville, NJ where they baked Hydrox cookies at the Sunshine factory. I have sweet memories of the chocolate goodness wafting through the air, as they were baking. It brings a tear to my eye, and a hollow to my belly, that I fear may never be filled again. BRING BACK THE HYDROX!!!
Oreo? Bland flavorless little things - no wonder they keep making them with more and more of the filling, it's the only part with flavor...
Gimme back my Hydrox.
