I support this petition. Keeping our historic sites open gives children a chance to learn about the past by visiting it. It not only helps them with shool and test scores, but also can inspire them with the passion to change history themselves.
I support this petition. We must preserve the important history of Illinois for future generations to learn from, enjoy and appreciate how hard our ancestors worked to move us forward in our world. Preservation should a always be supported by the government. When these landmarks are gone it will be forever. Please do not let that happen.
I support this petition. Don't prevent the people of IL from learning more about their history and the states history. By doing so you would be causing more harm than good.
I support this petition. Our history is important. Our culture is important. Politics is not important. Save Illinois' historical sites and historic preservation agency.
I support this petition.
I have fond memories of going to Lincoln Log Cabin with my classmates as a 5th grader. It was something that I looked forward to with anticipation and nearly 15 years later, still remember. Thousands of children will miss out on the opportunity to learn and be a part of the state of Illinois history. It is sad that the actions of a few will cheat so many children out of a wonderful opportunity.
I support this petition. These sites are more important than free rides for seniors (I am one of them) who can afford to pay for public transportation.
I support this petition. I DO support this petition-how IDIOTIC of the governer to even THINK this is a good idea. I'm ashamed of him-should be strung up to dry to think that closing historic sites is a good plan. I will do what I can to make sure this moron does not get away with this!
