Taking money from the state's main historical society and closing or under manning historical sites not only is disrespectful to our heritage, but is financially foolish -- saving pennies today to lose dollars tomorrow! Tourists come to these sites, and tourists are a sustainable industry, or they are if they can see what they want to see.
