As you all know there are innocent people in jail and there are also convicted criminals walking the streets that are also innocent, just because someone was convicted of a crime does not mean that he or she did it. If you have ever been convicted of a crime you did not do then you know exactly what I mean. I know for a fact myself because I have been living with a conviction for the past ten years and now I think it is time that our wonderful justice system step up and admit that they were wrong to convict me after they lost evidence, refused to let my witnesses testify for me, their key witness backed out at the last minute, she told the DA it was all a lie made up just to get me out of the house and I was related to the judge through my step father.

But this isn’t just about me; it’s about all the innocent people convicted of bogus crimes because of miscarriages of justice. The government spends a lot time and money destroying people’s lives I think they should spend a little time, money and effort rectifying their mistakes freeing the unfortunate people from jail so that they can get back to their, family’s and the other people can try to start leading a normal life. The government needs to start taking responsibility for their actions and start caring that there are innocent people being charged with crimes they did not commit. In a court of law a person is suppose to be innocent until proven guilty but in most cases a person in the courts eyes is guilty as soon as they walk through the door.

I have no absolutely no faith in the U.S justice system, I remember seeing a TV show once where a person was in court and he said justice is suppose to be blind, not deaf and dumb. I think that describes our courts perfectly they hear only what they want to hear.

I support this petition. I am a wrongly convicted sex offender just released from prison. I was arrested solely on the word of a vindictive ex girlfriend. The details are too many to go over, but know that I am fighting this conviction and hope to redeem myself soon.

I support this petition. But do we just sit and let these people get away with wrongfully convicting people? I know I wouldn't!
