Snails has not hunted or shot for over 20 years but will now resume such activities to make a public stand against a law based purely on ignorance and class prejudice.
I don't hunt, I don't Shoot, but I sure as hell will defend the right of others to do so. It is a VITAL part of rural life. YOU should be ashamed of yourselves.
As we all know, none of this has anything to do with animal welfare - in fact it makes things worse for them. As for landowners - who do the Govt. think looks after great tracts of the land, and provides jobs for people, if not the landowners - it's pure spite and prejudice
An Act implemented by a Metropolitan Government, which shows utter contempt not only for the countryside and the people who live and manage it but also for the electorate.If the government is so sure people want hunting banned. Why did't they put it to a national vote..? Do we no longer live in a democracy?
Now the Whitehall poiticians have come clean as to the real reason for banning hunting in England and Wales all our effort and support should be offfered to those in NI who are fighting the same discrimination
